They were late twice, the guy was nice but unfortunately somewhat unprofessional

HomeAdvisor said repair person would be at my house at 3. When I called him at 3:30, he said his company, BRT, always gives a 2 hour window and I was on his schedule for 3-5. He showed up within that window. Wish HomeAdvisor had told me the same.

Technician was really not sure what is causing frost to appear on metal hinges that allow top tray of bottom freezer to open. Suggested we may have a bad seal on one side of freezer drawer but cost of repair vs purchasing a new refrigerator down the road is up for discussion.

Zack come to my home and diagnosed the problem with my clothes washer. It was necessary for him to order a part to fix the problem. Took a week for the part to arrive. He came back to my home and repaired the washer and it seems to be working fine

Be Right There quoted a refrigerator and washing machine repair at $318 requiring an $80 deposit to order the required parts. My wife handled the initial visit by Zack to include paying the deposit. - Rather than make an appointment to finish the repair, Zack calls to let us know he is on the way. - When he arrived, I greeted Zack who asked me for my help with the repair not once, but 3 times which I thought unusual, but I could see where he might need a 2nd set of d nhands. - When the repairs were completed, I paid the invoice with my credit card minus the $80 deposit. - After he left I compared the amounts paid $80 + $258 = $338, not $318. I promptly called Zack 2x, but he did not answer. - My wife contacted him the next day and he reported he charged us a 4% surcharge for using the credit card which he did not share with my wife or me. - Apparently Zack does not do math, 4% of $318 = $12.72, not $20. - Also, the seal he replaced on the front load washing machine leaked requiring his return. - My wife requested the $20 be refunded which he declined to do. Instead, he gave us a business card with a hand written note he would give us a 10% discount the next time we require his services. I SERIOUSLY DOUBT THERE WILL BE A NEXT TIME UNLESS ZACK REFUNDS THE $20 OVERPAYMENT!! UPDATE from 02/11: Be Right There Appliance Repair (aka BRT). -Inferior workmanship. -Charges a deposit, if parts are needed (our visit #1). -Charges 4% credit card surcharge without telling the customer a surcharge is / will be applied. -Does not have the knowledge to use a calculator to compute 4% against the amount charged. -Solicits the customer's help to perform the needed appliance repair(s) - not once but 3 times (our visit #2). -After supplying personal assistance to the repair AND being overcharged, had to return for visit #3 to repair the repair. -Several attempts were made to contact Zack (BRT proprietor) to include voice mails, but the calls were not returned. Since there are at least 3 phone numbers listed, efforts were made until Zack was reached. -Following a negative review was made to HOME ADVISOR, Zack called me and abruptly hung up the phone in anger. -A portion of the overcharge was refunded; HOWEVER, the washing machine continues to leak at the front seal!! Bottom line: DO NOT USE BE RIGHT THERE appliance repair!!

They came to my house they took my money and never came back.

Washer was fixed quickly. He was able to order the part I needed for much cheaper than I could have gotten it myself

They were not very professional, my repair is still not finished. I keep leaving voice mails and no one returns my calls. Mybe they shut down for Christmas,

I hired this company to repair the ice maker on my refrigerator. They came out on December 11th and charged me $125. They have to order the ice maker and when it comes in they will come back to install it. It will be an additional $125 at that time. That was supposed to take place in a week. Today is December 23rd and I have heard nothing. I have left numerous messages and they won't call me back. I am moving in 3 days and this has to be done before then. I hope I didn't get ripped off by them.

The appliance was repaired. It works fine. the issue has not returned.

Frozen water line. I thought $140 was a little high but the service tech was very polite and he solved the problem.

They do not return calls, they do not communicate with their customers, they do not finish the job, and they do not care that they mistreat their customers.

12/1 No response from contractor and the parts were installed wrong, not equipped to do the work. Appliance still not working. 12/7 - I am pleased as of 12/7 Zack came out and resolved the issue his technician and their lack of communication 12/14 - Everything seem to be resolved I then used my dishwasher again and found that the heating element wasn't working 12/20 - Did get to speak to Zack said they would be out that night or in the morning to see if they left the heating element disconnected but didn't receive a phone call and nothing was further address. 1/5 - I order a heating element and installed myself and is now in working order. Overall I wouldn't recommend this company due to poor customer service and communication.

Highly competent and knowledgeable service at a reasonable cost.

Overcharged and was unable to give breakdown of the service. The cost to repair a sensor was more than the stove itself.

The tech tried several options on my machine (as the problem didn't immediately present itself to him...of course). He checked all the issues he thought might be a problem, and then tried and tried the machine to make sure it was satisfactory. He also adjuster the way our machinery was sitting and proximity to the wall so we would be up to code and the machine would work properly. Working great! Thanks!

WOW! is a good start to my review of Be Right There Appliance Repair. Zack and Nate were both very professional, friendly and patient. My fridge went on the blink and I did my research and thought the issue was one thing only to find out by the experts Zack & Nate it was another...I found this business through Home Advisor.com and was sold by their accreditation with the BBB and the reviews posted. Zack & Nate answered all of my questions about the repair and their business and at all times they were both professional while working, simply put, they were about their business. Also, they provided me with tips for the care of my appliance and informed me of the 30 day guarantee/warranty Be Right There has with this service call. This gave me more reassurance I made the right choice with Be Right There Appliance Repair. So far and as of this email, my fridge is fully operable and I am a satisfied customer. I assured Zack & Nate that I would post a review about their services as I was (and continue to be) satisfied with Be Right There Appliance Repair. Find someone else. These people don't know what they're doing. I paid them almost $300.00 to repair my gas range. They said they put on the part it needed, the next day when I tried to use it I got the same error code I had before they worked on it. I refused to let them put on another part and pay them more money. They will rip you off!

First of all, when you try to contact them you never talk to anyone right away. You always have to leave a message and wait for them to call you back. Also the name Be Right There is a misnomer. On Monday they came out about 2 hours later than they were supposed to. They made some repairs and said that most likely I would need to call them back in order to replace a part if the issue came back. I was fine with that, and called the next morning. They were going to try to fit me in that day if possible, but they went ahead and set up an appointment between 2 and 4 on Wednesday. 6 o'clock came and I called them and the receptionist called back and said that she would try to contact the techs. That was the last that I have heard from anyone. This is Friday now and I have tried calling back several times and left messages and nobody have called back to reschedule or anything. I definitely don't intend to use them again.

Stay away from him!

Very satisfied with total package. Would hire them again should the need arise.
