I was purchasing a house and needed an inspection in two days. I called Martin of Beach Home inspections and told him our situation. (Purchasing a house in SC while in NY). He could not have been more helpful and knowledgeable. . He was able to do the inspection and get an incredibly detailed report to us by that afternoon. The report was extremely thorough. I was able to present the report and get a substantial price reduction on the house! I HIGHLY recommend this company.

We are purchasing in North Myrtle Beach and could not be present at the inspection. Martin went over each item in the report with us and explained thoroughly what the resolution to any deficiencies would be and the importance of a repair. We were building a new home and asked Martin to help us through the building process. That was the BEST decision we made throughout the construction of our home. Martin did inspections during certain aspects of the construction and found items that we, and the builder, had overlooked--cement depths, electrical issues, plumbing issues, roofing imperfections --and other items. Our new home, thanks to Martin, has been constructed not only to SC code, but to our satisfaction. We could not be more pleased with Martin's expertise.

This is a company that you need to have to do your whole home inspection. Martin is very thorough, does not miss anything and explains everything in detail and answers all of your questions . When you call him he returns your call immediately.

He has tremendous licensed expertise and business experience, combined with the utmost integrity, professionalism, and superb, personable communication. His fees are very reasonable. We put a deposit on a SC house in February, on a visit from CT, where we returned to sell our house, and closed here in August. Martin made weekly visits to the property, documented work done in precise, often exacting detail, advised us on progress, and negotiated needed work with the builderâ s superintendent, requiring current code compliance. He goes above and beyond. The result of his material role, is a beautiful, well-built home that Walt, who has built his own houses, particularly appreciates. Also, Martinâ s expertise in national testing practices guided us in dealing with a radon test done incorrectly on our CT house, by a local inspector there who directed purchase of an expensive mitigation system. The re-test done properly, had a positive report, and the buyers relied on it, given Martinâ s credentials we noted. We highly recommend him!

Martin performed a thorough home inspection. He spent ample time at the home and wrote everything in detail but easy enough for us to understand. He answered all of our questions and he followed up. We did get some extra services such as radon and we were glad that we did this. Again ; all of this was explained to us in great detail.
