Our garage door stopped working. My wife called Dan and he came out promptly and fixed it. I appreciated the prompt service. However, it only took him about 30 minutes to fix the door and he charged $185. A quick search online for the parts needing replacement (which were outlined in the invoice he provided) were about $20. So he charged $165 for 30 minutes of work, which is $330 dollars an hour. I emailed him and asked why it cost so much, and he never responded. I would not recommend this company unless you have oodles of money to burn.

I was very pleased with my experience with Beacon Garage Doors. I called for a tune-up; my home is less than three years old. I was told I have a high-quality garage door that was expertly installed but that it needed lubricant and some adjustments, which were done. My door is far less noisy than it was.

Dan came out and looked at my mess I had going on here trying to do it myself to save money. Well believe me itâ s a lot cheaper hiring a professional. He looked at my problem and said no worries I can fix you right up. He ordered the parts and fixed the door the next day ( Saturday) 3 hours later heâ s done. I have 2 doors for my garage and he adjusted 1., installed 1, and installed 2 garage door opener in about 3 hours! Theyâ re awesome I would not hesitate to hire them. The price was very reasonable also.
