Michael, from Beacon Home Services, was very professional and cordial. He quickly identified the cause of my water leaks which was extensive copper pipe corrosion. I give Michael 5 stars.

Gas Piping
Work was performed professionally and done in a timely manner. Only reason I didn’t give it five stars was the high cost. I posted a public facing positive review of the work for those who could afford the price.

Drain Clog or Blockage Clearing
Zak is incredibly professional and the best plumbing technician we have had work in our home, and we have tried many over 30 years living in this house. Mary was also professional and an excellent communicator, making sure everything was arranged and we always knew the status. We required services more than one day, and everything was handled well and cleaned up spotlessly. Zak is intelligent, thorough and explains everything well. We highly recommend Beacon Home Services.
Response from Beacon Home Services, Inc.
"Thank you so much for the wonderful review and recommendation! We?re thrilled to hear that Zak provided such professional, thorough service and took the time to explain everything along the way. We?re also happy to hear that Mary kept you informed and made sure everything was coordinated smoothly. We?ll be sure to share your kind words with both of them. Thank you for trusting Beacon Home Services with your home!"

Faucets, Fixtures and Pipes Repair or Replace
Beacon Home Services claims that they are a 5-star service company. After my experience with John Katsiotis, I found out that they truly are. The firm says that it will take care of you. It truly does. The company says that it provides upfront pricing. It truly provides unbeatable, no fuss, no muss upfront prices. Beacon Home Services is a firm that does what it says and says what it means. The remarkable thing about this company is that it genuinely seeks to help its customers resolve their plumbing issues. So rare in today’s world. I was dealing with a pernicious shower leak that resisted my best coaxing. Through Angie’s List, I decided to contact the company. I’ve made the right decision. Beacon home services responded immediately and scheduled me for an appointment the next day in the 8:00 am – 4:00 pm time frame. They didn’t provide me a price over the phone, because they didn’t know what the situation entailed. The next day, the company provided me regular upda

Faucets, Fixtures and Pipes Repair or Replace
I hired this company to repair a front outdoor pipe leaking. I spoke with two people about the service and price. And I scheduled a date and time, which was an 9 am to 4 pm window of arrival. They never showed up or called. I called the office to find out the status of my appointment. They had all my information listed in their system regarding my address and type of service needed. However, they never put me on the schedule for service. Wasted my time. They could not even execute after o confirmed the appt and agreed to pay for the service. I would not recommend this company. My time is valuable. If I had not been for an appt scheduled, then they would have charged me. They should send me money for wasting my time!

Faucets, Fixtures and Pipes Repair or Replace
I purchased a new faucet to be installed. The work was done properly and in a timely manner. We had prepared the work area ahead of time, so nothing needed to be moved out of the way for plumber. He was polite. The price of the labor was $500, which seemed very high considering I had purchased and supplied the new faucet myself.

Water Heater - Repair or Service
I would not recommend Beacon Home Services. They installed my tankless water heater, and a few years latter, when it began leaking, the experience went downhill fast. I was charged a $500 diagnostic fee on arrival, then told I'd have to pay full labor costs for warranty parts, even when the first repair attempt failed and the leak continued.
They replaced one part, the leak remained. Then they said another warranty part needed replacing and I'd have to pay more labor again. When I raised concerns, I was told a manager would contact me. No one did. After days of silence, I had to email them myself, and only then did I get a voicemail saying they issued a partial refund and had "called the wrong number."
I ended up hiring a different plumber, who fixed the issue completely and charged me less than Beacon's first attempt.
Poor communication, high fees, and no resolution from Beacon. I strongly recommend choosing another company for plumbing or water?heater service.

Beacon services are provided with care by Rebecca to establish your needs and assign technicians. We had multiple electrical problems within our home and since Beacon had done an excellent job with our plumbing needs we called them again. We got Christian and Kristina who were available the next day. They did a great job identifying our issues and providing us with multiple solutions and prices. After we decided they did the work and showed us exactly what they were doing and why. They resolved our electrical issues quickly and all within code. They demonstrated great teamwork together and with us. We Highly Recommend Beacon services for all your repair needs!

The ceiling light for my foyer and the extra switch are functioning as requested. This did require dry wall removal on a wall and the ceiling. There probably should have been some kind of drop-cloth put on my floor first. Some kind of shopvac was used to clean up what was cut out. Other than a little bit of cleanup I need to do to a mat inside, things went well.
