Steven Moore, our technician, arrived on time, was incredibly polite, and made great efforts not to remove any of our dry wall, which we greatly appreciated. He also walked me through exactly what he did, and what the next steps were for us. <br /> The communication from the home office could have been better. Their office manager was supposed to have loaded into our account that we paid a deposit. That did not happen. Also, we were supposed to be contacted about a slight difference in the cost and our estimate. However, that did not happen, either. I had to follow up with the office to address those issues. <br /> <br />

It went very well. From our initial meeting through project completion, Bob Hanifin, the owner of Beacon Electrical Services and his office and field staff were always available to answer questions and provide information. <br /> On the day of installation Beacon employees were on time, pleasant to work with and finished the job when they said they would. After a long work day, the men took the time to fully clean the work area and provide me with instructions and explanations as to maintenance of the generator. <br /> I find Beacon Electrical Services to be very customer-oriented. Bob and his staff listen to customers and deliver on their promises. The office staff took care of permits and, after checking with me, scheduled a Pr. William County inspection. Given my experience, in the future, I would absolutely contact Beacon for any service they provide.

Everything went smoothly. Jessie called before his arrival of his initial visit since he was running ahead of schedule and wanted to be sure that we could accommodate an earlier start. He was personable, efficient, and professional at all times and clearly was well-trained and experienced in electrical services. During the second visit he encountered a construction problem in installing one of the cans in the soffit and proceeded to resolve the difficulty with some creative adjustments. The end products were excellent in terms of meeting our lighting needs. He was very careful in covering the furniture and art work to prevent exposure to dust from the cutting of the holes in the sheet rock. He cleaned up after concluding his work.

Steven the tech did a great job, carefully assessed our home's electrical system and came back later in the day to fix some minor things and install a flood-light. He also gave some great input on other potential work. I was very pleased.

I was very pleased with the work and professionalism of the technician, answered every question I had (yes, even the ones that may be perceived as mundane). The technician even labeled the breakers so I don't have to go through guessing game whenever I needed to shut down electric flow in one area. <br />

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It took a really, really long time to make an appointment; it was between a month and 6 weeks to actually get the appointment. The guy canceled the morning of the appointment; I guess there was food poisoning, or something. I was really working to have a whole bunch of outlets installed before we move into the house. When they showed up, it was 2 electricians and they were talking, they seemed a little more focused on their conversation than getting the work done and it cost me more than the deal but that I expected. Frankly, I think I did more than I needed to because I both had them move furniture all around them and movers had to work around them. If they had showed up on the original appointment, that would have been unnecessary and because they were having a conversation about the cars and houses they wanted to buy so overall it was okay. Nothing went extra horrifically wrong or anything but I probably wouldn't go back to them again.

Beacon Electrical was top-notch from start to finish. They were flexible in extending the time frame for the deal we bought because we were out of town on the original days the deal was available. They asked for a list of what we wanted them to work on so that they would be prepared. They confirmed the appointment the night before they arrived. Victor and Jesse called 10 minutes before the appointed arrival window (of 8 to 9 AM -- BTW, I love that the window was 1 hour instead of the 3 or 4 you get from other companies) to say they would be there shortly, and they arrived at 8 on the dot. Both electricians were pleasant, professional and worked quickly and efficiently. They fixed four small electrical problems in the allotted time (install two new switches, a doorbell and a new light fixture). They also provided some helpful general advice and gave me some estimates for additional work (at my request -- I didn't feel like they were upselling). One of the jobs we had hoped they could do involved replacing two old fluorescent fixtures and couldn't be accomplished within the allotted hour. They were up front about that limitation at the outset, which I appreciated. A sixth item on our "to do" list also didn't get completed because it involved replacing a switch on a bank of three, and they didn't have with them a switch that matched the two that didn't need replacing -- they offered to replace all three but suggested that it would be cheaper for us to simply buy a matching switch and have it replaced the next time we had an electrician in to do work. I wish that we had thought about that beforehand because we could've had the switch available for them. But oh well -- all in all, a very minor glitch in an otherwise great experience. I will note that Victor and Jesse were pleasant to me, put booties over their shoes when they came in, were tolerant of my crazy barking dogs, and friendly to my kids. They also had nice things to say about their employer and seemed to really enjoy their work, which is nice to see. I will definitely be calling Beacon back whenever I need electrical work done at my home. <br />

He showed up on time, a very personable fellow. Did an estimate before work was begun. The work ended up taking longer than he expected but he didn't charge any extra. He also stayed late until the work was completed. He returned the next day for a complimentary safety inspection of the house. <br /> We were very pleased with the service we received. <br />

Jesse Rosenthal could not have been more accommodating or nicer to work with. He came shortly after our initial contact and was very thorough in his explanation of my options in what I wanted covered by the generator. There was some time between our conversation and the actual installation but when they came his men were very efficient and very helpful in every way. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to install a generator.

The electircal technician was knowlegeable and very helpful. He quickly identified the problem behind my "dead" outlets, and solved the problem by replacing the old GFI outlets. He made recommendations as to what should be added or fixed to conform to code, since I'm planning to sell my house in the future. <br />
