"I assisted this customer with a floor plan and recommended a contractor with references to do the work she wanted done. Unfortunately, I had complications from knee surgery during the time we worked together (including a trip to the emergency room) and I couldn't present her plan in person but made myself available for several telephone calls to discuss the plan after I emailed it to her. Her last texts to me said she understood and "Thank u so much". Although her experience was not what she expected or what I normally provide to my customers, the situation couldn't be helped and I did my best to provide the floorplan in a timely fashion. She never expressed her dissatisfaction with my work to me."
"We acknowledge this customer was not happy with some of the furniture she selected & made alternative recommendations. We offered to modify or replace a coffee table at our expense & then took it back providing a refund. We buy our products at wholesale & sell them at a fair retail price which covers freight, assembly & our time to select the right furnishings. We provide design expertise & save you time. The end table referred to in her comments cost us more than what she is claiming she could find it for elsewhere. Some retailers can purchase a "knock-off" that looks like a quality piece of furniture and offer it at a lower price. We don't."
