Reviews
Write a ReviewThis guy is incompetent.
The customer ceiling is totally warped from previous water damage and the new fan that HE BOUGHT was too small to span the damaged area. The fan I installed worked properly but the ceiling needed repair to prevent some wobbling. He did NOT want the ceiling repaired.
My house is 90 years old & he has performed several fix-it projects such as new door saddles, caulking in bathrooms, faucet repair, outside door repair, hanging heavy mirror. He delivers quality workmanship & leaves the area meticulous. I am very pleased with work & would again when a need arises.
Very dependable and worked hard fixing my deck steps
I contacted Home Advisor to have 2 window blinds, one vertical patio door blind, a large clock, and two small wine racks installed in my new kitchen. Normally these are jobs I would do myself but I did not want to damage the walls of my new kitchen. Matt came and looked at the job and quoted me a fair hourly rate so we struck a deal. My issue is with the vertical patio door blind. Matt made three separate attempts to secure the mounting brackets before finally getting the correct height. He complained that because the blinds were made in China, the measurements were incorrect. First of all, the blinds were custom ordered from a Texas based firm that does all their own manufacturing. Secondly, the mounting height of the brackets can be determined by the length of the slats. My brand new walls have 3 unused holes in addition to the ones ultimately used. The wall looks like it was sprayed with shotgun pellets. Adding insult to injury, the blind is not level. Matt claimed it was the valance made of cheap plastic that causes the downward sloping appearance but the blind is crooked. I have photos to support my claim. Last, the three attempts to finally get the brackets mounted took an hour for which I was charged. Quite honestly, had the blind been correctly installed, I would have no issue with the 5 hours I was charged but knowing I was paying to correct the same mistake twice leaves a bad taste. Matt is a nice man and he is meticulous in his work but I do not think he did a good job with my patio door blind.
He works with me and tries to help me out as much as possible
