I use Bekins personally and professionally. We just moved our office to a bigger location and they were available for all of our needs. Greet experience on all levels. Ken, the estimator, Penny at the office and John and Jay our movers were beyond fabulous to work with Bekins is the only moving company I use.

Best moving experience I have ever had. I have moved several times with the military but this local move was the smoothest move yet. I would use them again.

We had two great movers, Steven and Keith. They were here on time, pleasant, professional and great workers. We would refer anyone to use them for any type of moving.

Moving crew was awesome. Hard working, professional, nice folks, That is all I can say good about Bekins NW. Let's back up a bit and unfold the whole story. Upon initial consultation with sales (Brett) an estimate was given that seemed OK. However, Brett was told that a recent move (5 months prior) did not have enough or rather a large enough truck to make the move in one trip. I was assured that he would look at the move and logistics and adjust accordingly. One week out from the move, I reminded Brett that if he sent a 26ft truck, all of our belongings would not fit (tried that recently, see above). So what does Bekins NW do, they send a 26ft truck for a move from Ellensburg to Yakima. Crew obviously knew they weren't going to fit everything and resigned themselves to at least a two trip move (oh by the way, time on a local move is by the hour). So that cost more to move us, funny how that works out. Crew actually had a driver who was licensed to drive a bigger truck but was told too bad, use the smaller truck. These guys worked from 7:30 AM to 12:30 AM to finish the move and still did not get everything. I went to the office the next day to talk to management, but Kris was not available. I was told he was going to call me to discuss my displeasure, he never did. The office listened but could not/would not do anything other than listen. Did I say that I moved furniture during college for a big name national mover? So I know how to load a truck and how to size up what is needed. That was also told to Brett, but he did not listen. No one seems to listen at Bekins NW. Bottom line (I could be wrong but I do not think this happened only with me) they over promise and severely under deliver. Ownership should not be surprised by this review. I gave you all the chances to follow up and you did not. We both lost on this one.

The mover came and stayed on task all day in spite of the fact the temps were in the 100's.

Project: Find Moving Services - Local (Within State)
They were awesome. Nothing was broken, they were polite and hooked everything back up. They even reassembled my furniture. They constantly communicate with you and if they forget anything they will quickly correct the mistake. Even the drivers were incredibly polite and a pleasure to work with.

    HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities.
  10. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup)
    We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
