Belcher Electric

I got an upgraded panel. I paid cash under the terms that I am provided a receipt. They have lied for a week about sending it. The worse business practice is when a company does not care about a customer. I was ready to give 5 stars but their lack of customer service subtracted 2.5 stars. Plus their lack of response to a small issues as a receipt says Belcher Electric does not care about the customers. Now the internet wants to know, what was so hard about a receipt? I will never recommend Belcher Electric because you will never get a receipt.

Great service. Fixed several problems quickly.

We completely lost power in our home just as it was getting dark on Monday night. I went to Angi and put in a request for an electrician. It asked if I needed to have a call right away and after saying yes I was contacted by Scott from Belcher Electric. I explained our situation and he asked where we lived. I told him and he said he was not far away and was picking up his dinner. He told me he could be here in about a half hour. He came right over and let me know the main on our electrical panel had failed. He told us he could get a crew right over and replace it for us as he did not want elderly people to be without electricity. We had previously had work done in August and were told we would eventually need to have our panel replaced. We were given a quote at that time but we were not in a position to cover that high of an expense. The quote Scott had given us was much lower and more in our price range, especially when he was going to come back with a crew and replace it immediately. He told us it would take about 2 or 3 hours to complete. He returned with his crew and everything he needed to do the job. In 2 hours we had power! He replaced the old 150 panel with a 200 panel and he and his men checked all the lights and the water pressure to make sure everything was good. He checked the line outside and because we still had a little flickering of the lights he suggested we contact National Grid in the morning and have them check the line at the pole as that may have been the reason for the failure. In the morning I did contact National Grid and they sent Someone out. He found there was a problem and he was able to replace a line. Thanks to Scott and the two men who came out and replaced the panel in the dark, we were Also able to have a problem with our outside line repaired. I am so thankful to him and National Grid for helping to keep us safe from an electrical issue that could have been so much worse. Also thank you for being so reasonable with your pricing.

Scott returned my call right away and came over soon after even though he was very busy helping clients after a wild rain and wind storm. Work was completed quickly and he was able to work around my work schedule.

This electrical contractor is taking on too many jobs, my project was put on hold quite often because he was too busy with other jobs, this was a simple take down the panel wait a week for the cement work to be completed, and then come back the following week but he kept telling me he was not available he had too much work. My project was only on a spare garage but it was not used often but there was no reason to be pushed aside for more important jobs. so if this contractor is hired be ready to be put on hold.

On time - kept in contact. Made sure I was happy with the work before they left.

Needed electrical upgrade to 200 amps. Scott Called within 5 minutes of submitting request. Stopped by 2 hours later, reviewed everything, explained what he was going to do with price, the best I have received. Said he could come next day at 10:00 with crew. On time and finished entire job in 3 1/2 hours. Very professional and crew did exceptional job. Definitely would use again and or recommend

He was prompt, pleasant and efficient. I recommend him highly and will contact him directly next time I need an electrician.

Do not waste your time hiring this company!! After waiting two weeks thinking he would be doing the job as was agreed and planned he stopped returning messages and never followed through as promised. In the beginning all went well but then the entire situation changed. Very unprofessional in the end and the job never got done after going through the whole process and then basically being ignored and forgotten.

Called me right away I was concerned about the problem I had and I felt like he took the same concern right away can the same day have me a good price fixed it the next morning big job to me not a problem for the owner Scott great job will use him again
