We were getting ready to sell our house after living in it for many years. We had no real feel for what the house was worth today. We hired Jeff Belk based on excellent reviews. He contacted us quickly. And completed a thorough appraisal in a timely manner. His appraisal priced our home much higher than we would have imagined. The appraisal was spot on because when the Coming Soon sign was up and emails went out to realtors, we used his appraisal price and had multiple viewings scheduled within a day and received multiple offers within 2 days! Without his expertise, we would have listed it for less. Having Jeff do the appraisal was worth every penny and more. Highly recommended.

Jeff Belk is an excellent, experienced appraiser who did a great job, arrived on time, did a thorough appraisal, and spent time explaining the appraisal and how to determine the best listing price for my townhouse. I was able to sell it for more than the appraisal amount due to Jeffâ s help. He really went above and beyond to answer all my questions about how the process works and was patient and informative. I learned a lot of valuable information about pricing and listing a home and it paid off in a great sales price for my home. I would highly recommend him and use his services again!

I imagine that it took him longer to drive to the house than to appraise it. I have obtained my appraisals during my days of flipping house. This by far the worst I have seen.

"The client was looking for a listing appraisal for his home. I am an investor as well and have renovated dozens of homes through the years and specialize in this type of appraisal. I thoroughly research the market in every assignment I do and as indicated by the over 100 reviews that I have in HomeAdvisor, I take the time and effort to provide a thorough report. I believe the client has thoughts that his home is valued much higher than what the market indicates. The home was very nice and the appraised value was approximately $30,000 higher than the highest-priced home ever sold in his neighborhood. There is always a threshold as to how much a home can sell for in its market location. All of the comparisons utilized in my report were in the market area and were recent renovations of similar quality. Homes that sold for a higher value in the area were newer and larger than the client home. I am sorry that the client does not agree with my report and that is his right but, like a professional appraiser, my methods are based upon market data and not speculation."
