Below Dry

Great customer service. Great prices. Worth every penny. Thank you Below Dry for a dry basement. I would recommend John and his company to all of my friends, family, and co-workers. I have never been so satisfied with a contractor and his work.

The owner, john Crumb is new. He asked me to write a review early on in the project. I wrote one here and, not knowing what I know now, am sorry I did. John does fine work initially. He waterproofed the basement and added steel beams to the garage walls. He talks a very good game and is charming. HOWEVER, he hires young guys who have no idea what they are doing. John also offered to finish my basement...because even though he doesn't do that kind of work he claimed to have a great carpenter who worked for him. This guy ruined everything he touched...from drywall to doors. I have had to pay a new crew to fix what this guy did. Also, John told me he was going to hand dig behind our garage wall...instead he brought in a large backhoe and ruined my entire front, side and back lawn. His guy also dented our garage and rubber roof with the backhoe. He promised to fix it all but kept putting me off and now he says he will fix it in Spring....I do not buy it. We just discovered after moving into this new house his guys cemented over the floor drain when they were waterproofing. I have no way of draining my washing machine now. He told me for the past week he would come and fix it but he scheduled for the weekend and no showed. Not even a phone call! Patti H. R.

The owner of the company is a delight to work with. Courteous, more than helpful and makes sure the job is done right. He really knows his stuff and he and his crew did a great job.

This is John's first year in the business. He is well prepared and eager to provide good service and value. He stayed with the job until done, and offered suggestions for the outside parameter of the house as well. He was timely in completing the work. He exhibits a willingness to continue growing as a businessman. We are happy to recommend Below Dry.
