Beltmann Moving and Storage - Roselle

They were terrible to do business with. They were in breach of our contract delivery date by over ten days, lost some of our belongings, damaged some boxes and failed to own the issues. We had to email them everyday for an update. They picked up our belongings on 8/19 and were supposed to deliver by 9/10. When 9/10 came, there service agent not only could not tell us a delivery date, she was unsure where exactly our belongings were. It was extremely disappointing. We had to get their general manager and internal legal team involved to locate and deliver our belongings. We finally got them on 9/22; over a month after they loaded everything. We are still waiting on our claim for lost items. I would not recommend them.

Our move was a disaster. Much damage! They did not protect anything and the driver who delivered our furniture wrote that on the delivery ticket.

Was over charged. Over promised. Furniture was delivered damaged. Claims has ignored me for a month.

Poor packing and planning. My two most important pieces of furniture were broken.

Our experience with Home Advisor was terrific. We completed our move on Nov 7, 2020 from Ellijay, GA to northern IL. After signing up with Home Advisor, we had emails from 7 long distance companies serving NW Georgia. Beltmann Group, Inc in Stone Mountain, GA stood out. And they were magnificent from beginning to end, providing the most professional and pleasant moving experience we could have imagined. To be clear, we were not seeking “Folks with a Truck”, so you need not read further if this is your interest. We wanted professionals, high quality with care, and a fair price. Our move was complicated by the issue of an 18-wheeler not having access into the Coosawattee River Resort of Ellijay. Beltmann Group, their impeccable team from top to bottom, made everything a breeze ... superbly professional workers, fair price, routine follow up as we proceeded, and every piece of our furniture was delivered in pristine condition and in the delivery window promised. On a scale of 5 stars, Beltmann Group deserves a rating of 10 stars. Starting out in Ellijay with our virtual tour coordinator and moving estimator Ian Robbins, our driver Gerard Dugue and his delightful assistant Keasha, and loaders (Baruch, Jesus, Jorge, and one other young man whose name we misplaced), and then ending with Gerard and the terrific offloading crew in northern IL, we were enthusiastically impressed with everything Beltmann Group accomplished. Manager Larry Corley came to my house and did a detailed evaluation of what would be needed. As I am at the end of a cul-de-sac with a very steep driveway he arranged for a smaller truck to handle the first part (getting things out of the house) and then transferring to a full-size moving van later. (All other companies said they’d let their drivers assess the situation, which would have left me up a creek on moving day if they had decided their vans couldn’t handle it. ) All of the movers were very professional, asked me questions about anything they were unsure of, and took excellent care of my belongings. With all of this extra attention they still gave me the lowest bid. I highly recommend them!

I had a great experience with this condition. Price didnâ t change and there was no damage to my furniture. I would definitely recommend tgem.

I had a very complicated household move which requires their truck to venture down a 7 mile primitive dirt road to my remote home. Beltmann was able to handle it seamlessly and made sure all my household possessions arrived at their destination in perfect order. Very impressed.

Complaints too numerous to mention. Totally unsatisfactory experience.
