He is not a professional as a furniture repair or furniture restore, Could not match the stain from what was on the Broyhill piece. I asked that he only do the top of the table where I had issues of wear. He tried and fail at my expense. Then the 2nd piece was repairing the spindle which was broke. He used a piece of wood that I had in the garage and tried to whittle a small piece of wood doing that for a day and a half at $50.00 per hour. What a joke. He charged me $1000.00 for a poor job. He should have told me from the very beginning that he could not do this job.

Not knowledgeable about wood working, there was a piece of broken wood around the house, he tried using to fix the radio leg and the stain is not matching. The table top that needs to be varnished he did not have a paint brush to complete this correctly. I asked if he wanted to get paid each day and he did want to get paid each day. Is not capable of fixing furniture.

I initially hired Ben to repair a garden shed that needed the front t11 siding replaced. I then had him paint the sides of the house that were overdue for painting. He caulked the gaps between the vertical boards and put on multiple coats. He also rebuilt drip moldings over a few windows, caulked gaps around the house, fixed a fence gate, built a step down from the house to the deck. All in all excellent work.
