Ben is an excellent painter. He is very detailed and he is sensitive to work around interior issues, such as furniture moving , vacuuming after sanding, and taping. He is very prompt, considerate, and thorough. You will be pleased with his performance.

Two coats of quality paint on my walls, casing, molding, doors, fireplace, shelving and window aprons. He told me what paint he uses and the quality of the paint. Sanded doors, molding, window aprons, casings. Washed bathroom wall with simple green before painting these rooms. Very helpful in choosing paint for bedrooms, dining room, living room, bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room. Patched and repairs any holes or cracks in walls before painting begins. Works clean. and methodical throughout the day. Removes blinds, doors, wall plates...or anything else on walls. Reinstalls. Covers everything that needs to be covered. Never leaves a mess behind after the paint day is over. I trusted him and was able to leave him alone in my home while I had errands to run. Honest to a fault. If you can call painting a vocation. Ben Painted our fireplace brick, one bedroom and one accent wall in our dining room. The bedroom door frame was damaged by a guests dog. Ben patched it and matched the paint that it shows no damage, then prepped and applied new paint, and the room is now beautiful. He painted an accent wall in the dining room that was just a tint off the other walls and the color is perfect. Ben also repainted our fireplace brick. Ben was prompt, did preparations, and finished the job as promised. He did fantastic on cleaning up, his price was fair. He will be our painter from now on, and I recommend him to anyone because of his honesty and old school work ethics.

He discussed everything prior to beginning the work. The wall is an offset diagonal and his technical work in painting this wall was amazing. His prices are reasonable.

We can not speak highly enough about Ben Lypps, both as a professional and as an individual. He does stellar work, paying very close attention to detail and going over and above to ensure the job is done correctly. Our home required a great deal of preparation and repair work prior to painting, which turned out to be more than Ben had originally anticipated, but he honored the price on the contract. He never complained about the extra work. Ben is super conscientious about showing up on time, and cleaning up after he left. He is a quiet, kind and considerate man, making him a pleasure to be around. We will use Ben for all of our future painting needs!

Until recently, my husband and I used to do all our own painting and whatever had to be done inside as well as outside. We are very fussy and neat. Ben came to our home, inspected it thoroughly, gave us a proposal, helped us choose what type of paint and gave us some good ideas. Ben had to remove wallpaper from our bedroom and bathroom. WOW!! He then painted two coats of paint in the rooms. He also painted all the trim. He even painted our ceiling and never charged us. After meeting Ben and spending some time with him, it was apparent that he was a fantastic person. His writing skills, customer service, timeliness, detail, work ethics, cleanliness, organization and conscientiousness are absolutely outstanding. It was a pleasure for us to see what he would accomplish in just one day. He is truly amazing and we would not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends. Ben always packed a lunch. There were days he sat in our back yard with us and had his lunch break. We had some of the most wonderful conversations and found out what a terrific person he is as well as kind, trustworthy and a very incredible worker.

Ben Lypps is a painting contractor of the highest quality. He painted my large patio cover, gazebo, and several exterior doors and did a fantastic job. Prior to giving a quote he performed an extensive inspection and wrote a comprehensive contract that he very diligently observed. He was extremely thorough and performed prep work way beyond my expectation. Ben did the work "right" and took no short cuts even though it cost him added time and effort (e.g., he had to deal with rain delays, measured the moisture content of the wood, and would not paint it if it exceeded certain limits). Ben is very detailed oriented to the point of being a perfectionist. He was always punctual and did an excellent job of communicating progress daily. He is personable and patiently answers questions and concerns. I could not ask for a better job and Ben Lypps receives my very highest recommendation.
