Had to replace 4 sink drains that leaked but were glossed over during inspection. Never inspected attic.

They were late and didn?t call to advise if they were lost. M. Neal asked me to tell them what I found wrong with the home. Asked personal questions and wasted my time. They never inspected the maids quarters or the second garage. The were done in 1 hr. Extremely unprofessional, inefficient and were not thorough. I hired another company, who will take a minimum of six hours on the inspection due to the size of the home.

If my realtor had not been with him, I would have thought he inspected the wrong house. He saw carpet in rooms where there wasn't any. He saw a tub in a bathroom without one. He said in the report there was no electrical panel, and my realtor confirmed that he did not remove the cover of the panel and inspect the wiring. He said the roof did not have enough hail damage that an insurance company would cover it. Well an insurance company is repairing the roof. There was no mention of the laundry room, so I don't even know if he went in. No mention of the condition of the appliances, water heater, furnace, water softener, windows ect. I had recently sold a house, so I know what an inspection should look like. This inspection basically told me nothing.

Mr. Neal was very thorough and explained everything clearly. He even gave us good advice about how we could fix some of the more minor problems ourselves.

I was fairly happy with the inspection. Since there were two people inspecting and I could only be with one of them at a time, I had to take their word for it that some things were totally inspected. It is really too soon to give an overall rating until I own the house for a year. I have gone through this process before and was not totally happy with my previous inspector. Again it takes a very long time to give an opinion.
