They replaced two valves and charge me $900 and they were there for three hours

$338 to literally cut two plastic tubes and make them each a couple inches shorter. That's it. I had called them out to reconnect our sink since we got a new vanity. To top it off the two plastic tubes are now leaking. I don't know what's going on with Benjamin Franklin, but they are out there just ripping people off 100%. The job they did and the 30 minutes they were here to do it should have only cost MAX $150. The absolute MAX.

We called them out on a plugged sewer line to a septic tank. They arrived on time, and we quick to get to work. The man ran a camera down the line and said the tank was full. We scheduled them to come out and pump. The next day they came back, ran a camera, and a location, and said they could not get clear out to the tank because the line was plugged. One quick look at the trees in the area, and they said it was the roots in the line. And it would cost $2800 to dig up and repair. The price was based on the depth of the line being 6 feet. We got a second opinion, and the sewer line was clear and clean, it was only 3 feet deep (they get paid more when it is deeper), and the tank did indeed need pumping. Franklin charged us $400 to come out and try to charge $2800 more to remove roots and replace the clean sewer line that was not any part of the problem.

The guy is expensive. On a fixed income, I couldnt afford to hire him, again.

Arrived same day as called with needed parts on truck. Replaced ''freeze proof' faucet which involved using crawl space and removal of faucet through a concrete wall. Excellent workmanship and very courteous / professional service man.

The technician didn't seem familiar with my boiler and did very little by way of inspection and tune up. Even with a $79 coupon it cost me $200 to have one compartment vacuumed.

Not sure of the gentleman's name who did the service, think it was Keith. I do know tho he was very professional and capable with what he had to work with. By that I mean he had someone else truck and could not find what he needed which took extra time, no fault of his own. He was clean, neat, personable and knew what he was doing. If not having a $79 coupon, the cost would have been out of line in my opinion. Other than that, service was good and done right as far as I know,

Gave me a bid for the work. We agreed on the price and after the work was done charged me a $79 service over the price we agreed upon just 4 hours earlier. Did not complete the task contracted to do. Had to remove some of his piping and reinstall so that connection to the gas insert could be made. Will not use them as a sub contractor again.

Wonderful service and Harry was thorough. Explained every thing clearly. I also decided to have a Garbage Disposal installed. He did not pressure me to buy the more expensive unit and gave me two different options and let me decide. Also purchased the $89.00 package for maintenance on water heater and for discounts and service calls.

Steve was very knowledgable and professioal. Answered questions and helped educate me on furnace operations... Customer service polite and prompt in reply to email. After hrs service fee well spent. Thanks😃

The price was a little high compared to previous plumbing companies that have done the same unclog service in the the same location of my house, but there is a 67 day guarantee and the plumber that performed the service gave me some advice on keeping the pipe from clogging as I told him that this seems like a yearly routine since we've lived in this house. I would recommend Benjamin Franklin simply over the expertise of the plumber I received. I would NOT on the other-hand recommend making service requests through HomeAdvisor. I made the request as an "Emergency" since I wasn't able to use the kitchen because of this clog. One would assume that when you click on "Emergency" when making a request that you would get a service request sent to the company of your choice right away. Not with HomeAdvisor. I had to call Benjamin Franklin the next day. They had received the service request from HomeAdvisor just a few minutes before I called almost 24 hours later. I would NOT be using HomeAdvisor again to make service requests in the future for ANYTHING. You're better off contacting the service company of your choice directly.

The price seemed to high for the work done which was replacing the circuit board.

They were professional, friendly, and worked with us around holiday schedules and all to install our furnace.

Tech admitted he had more plumbing experience than fuurnace experience. It took the tech three trips to find and fix the problem and did so only after confirring with the funace manufacturer. Furnace was not fully functional over a weekend.Tech explained what he was doing, was very service oriented and did not give up. Over all cost was over $400 -- four switched were repaced -- service call was $79 which is probbly typiocal -- $300 plus for four switches and labor seems hight to me. Tech did extras -- sealed furnace better, fixed a loud fasn rattle and gave some suggestions regarding a potential hot water heater problem.

these gentlemen were all very polite and willing to answer any questions we might have. they worked with out any problems ariseing . always on time and seemed to know exactly what they were doing.
