Bertie Griffith Affordable Mover

The job was to demo a basement ceiling. Bertie is pleasant, and it was easy to set up the job. During the job one of the workers broke a plumbing connection, which Bertie did get repaired that day. But he was not there for most of the job. The space was not left broom clean. Debris everywhere, on the floor and on top of the ducts. Shards of the ceiling were still up, and I was expected to pull it down myself. They left uneven edges. And they brought not one single tarp or plastic (luckily I had a few). The four floors of my building were covered in dust. It was not a good value, either. From the reviews I expected a more professional job.

Bertie and crew were amazing! Iâ m a little late writing this review, but they were amazing, professional, flexible, and quick! They were on point all day and their packing Tetris skills are unmatched! We moved from Brooklyn to Jersey City, and Iâ ve never experienced such a seamless move for a stressful activity. All praise to Bertie and team! Oh yeah, their prices are unmatched in NYC. If youâ re moving and not using Bertie, youâ re getting ripped off, period.

We had a fantastic experience with Bertie's company. From setting up the job through the completion of the work, Bertie runs a very professional operation. He was easy to work with and he worked very efficiently with his staff to complete the job in a very short time frame. Plus his pricing is very competitive. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

From the first call to confirm the service of removing a washer and dryer, I just knew I was going to have a great experience. He was 15 minutes early, accommodating, polite, and careful. He even returned at my request. For a first time user of this service, I am thrilled.
