Good friendly owner and his workers, however, they suggested more than necessary of lights install in the kitchen, which however it was our idea at 1st, they should have told us we did not need that much! Thankful for their high pricing we chose not to go over budget! I also ask the owner about the install of two exhaust fans for our bathrooms. The owner Steve said he would get back to me, he never did, so when the workers finished, I was ready to pay the top electrician, and there was a major difference in what the total was to be, the top electrician said he is not going to be in the middle of this, the boss man will have to settle this! So we waited for 4 days and showed a call we missed with no message from the owner on that Friday. I called and it went message system and I left a message: *thanks for the free job you did for us, wish there were more contractors out doing free work! LOL*, still no callback. I will keep your company updated! Which by the way we love HomeAdvisor! Thanks for doing your job for Homeowners out there! Michael Wetherholt.

Took time to make sure everything worked correctly

They showed up 15 mins early and worked late to ensure power was restored for the night. The came back early the next day to finish up and clean up. Very courteous guys and no foul language. Very good experience. Iâ d hire them again!

A true professional....troubleshot problem with wall outlets and switches.

The technicians were courteous and did a good job in a timely manner. They also cleaned up after they completed the work. I would definitely call them again if I need to have other work done.

The electrician did an excellent job. He explained what was wrong and fixed the problem. He also went the extra mile by suggesting a solution for another light fixture that we had and completed that job. We will certainly use Best Electrical Services again.

The electrician was 3 1/2 hours late for appointment time

The owner visited the site to evaluate what had to be done, then provided an estimate of cost & time. His crew arrived on time, did an excellent job on time and within the estimate.

called for work at my house, fiance was home. replacing an outlet in the kitchen steve was not very nice with my fiance, finished up work very quickly and left. did not double check for accurate work get home and the breaker for the replaced outlet is off. find out that if the breaker is flipped my dishwasher starts sparking and catching fire! kept breaker off and contacted them again to come second time coming they charge me a 2nd service call fee, 2 employees show up to correct steves mistakes. they made mention that this issue could have been avoided if steve verified the job was really complete. tried to call and explain any of this to them and both phone numbers just ring, and since the voicemail is conveniently full i cannot leave a message. left text messages on the second number i knew to be a cell phone but still no answer. if i could give less than half a star i would. cant believe the negligence, whether with the job or with the customer service. i can understand paying for one job, hell, even if there was something extra the first time around id have gone with them. but for them to double charge me like this is not right.

Very pressed with this company. Puntual and cordial.

Steve and his guys did a great job upgrading my 100A service to 200A. Dwayne and Dave worked tirelessly the two days they were here, staying very late the first night to get to a good stopping point in order to ensure we were inspection ready the next day. Steve made sure I was kept in the loop, permits were ready, and coordination between inspectors and the power company were on point. After the work was done a few little issues popped up (because the wiring in my house is so old), so Steve sent his guys back out and they had the problem fixed in less than 30 minutes. For the price and quality of work I’d venture to say that Best Electrical Services is probably your best bet electrician wise in the Charleston area.

ran a 220 line and outlet from electrical box in garage to the hot tub and pergola, they arrived early, 4 guys mainly working on job. finished job in 1 day, very please with speed of completion of job, perhaps could have cleaned up a little better, but that's just me

Best Electrical did an outstanding job up grading my electrical panel. Steve and his team were very professional and courteous. They were very knowledgeable and all work was installed neatly and they cleaned up the entire work area. It’s nice to work with true professionals.

Great assist on getting the problem solved but was two hours late for the appointment. Customer service did not even know that he had not arrived and then took almost 30 minutes to return the appropriate time he would be there.

Was not happy with the outside outlet installed because it was different than what was there before and too large fire the space called them but they never call beck. Also, the 2 outlets they worked on or replaced, stopped working and I had to have another electrician come and replace.

They were very friendly and helpful. They cleaned up thoroughly and put everything back in place.
