The work on our Hardwood floors was great! And they were very Professional. The Sheen was not as shiny as we wanted but that is a Glitsa Problem! Also we only got 2 Coats instead of 3 Coats on the Multikote. So a Star is Deducted. But great prep work and Very Clean during & After Re-Finish…!

Ivan at Best Hardwood Floors worked with us to get the job done prior to our movers arriving, and he did it in record time. A couple of other companies either didn't get back to me, or never followed thru, so we were only 3 days away from our move when Ivan agreed to do the floors. They used plastic sheeting to contain the wood dust, and cleaned up after the job. Would use again.

I will say it is always a worry hiring a contractor that you do not know, and concern for what the quality of workmanship. I contacted them to give me a quote for repairing existing floor and replacing other carpets to hardwood. They were the only company which was actively responding my questions, and willing to come onsite for an evaluation. Even though there were some miscommunication on the quoting, we figured that out and I hired them for my flooring project. They were effective on the work and answered me lots of questions via text even at night. The new floor looks very nice. We are glad to hire best hardwood.

I confess, I do not usually care to submit online reviews of work that I expect to be accomplished professionally, and for other customers, whom I think need to do their own research and come to their own conclusions. But after completing a difficult project with Best Hardwood Floors, I wish to make an exception. I do not think that the word Best is superlative enough [with apologies to my English teacher]. This team is Beyond Best. Super Best? Worlds Best? Galactic Best? I had a difficult situation with a badly damaged, but previously beautiful bamboo floor, and had been trying for over a year to have even one other company just come and look at the floor. Instead, nothing but unanswered Contact us forms and lame excuses; and in one case I was given a square foot-derived estimate, but without any knowledge of the specific nature of the project. Perhaps, their motto is one solution fits all. One final, by now desperate, attempt got me in touch with Best Hardwood Floors. They showed up the same day to inspect the project. They demonstrated immediately that they were familiar with bamboo restoration and developed an estimate on the spot. Although the number was higher than I had hoped, they stood by the correctness of their estimate. I have learned the hard way: do not haggle with your brain surgeon and do not haggle with your flooring restoration team. That attitude actually paid off in the end. A surprising amount of time was spent just prepping the house for the upcoming sanding. Trim was removed; doors were taken off; everything was wrapped in plastic, even the cat. The sanding itself was accomplished in three or four gradations and in the end three coats of finish were applied. Because they use a quick-drying commercial grade product, at the end of each day I was permitted to walk on the floor, so that I did not need to find another accommodation for a week. Savings right there. The project was completed today and in less time than had been allowed; and the floor looks even better than when it was brand new. So, to answer the inevitable: Would you recommend this company to friends and family? My suggestion is, based on what I have observed, you decide. But do not be a fool.
