Beware! Highly overrated. Get other quotes first. We needed AC to be repaired with parts still under warranty (from a Carrier unit they installed 5 years prior) and were sold a new, lower-quality Goodman split unit instead at DOUBLE which other companies later quoted for the EXACT same unit! We paid $12,334 instead of the competition's $6115 $7268 written bids provided to us. BHS WILL NOT detail part and labor details to support their charges. The justification was more overhead. They also did not have an approved permit before installation. There are lots more I could say, but most importantly, do not let them GOUGE you! Beware.

I hired them to clear a blockage in the main drainage to the sewer. The service person advised that there was a blockage and a break in the sewer line. He quotes $1200 for the use of the camera scope to identify the blockage in the location and the pressure clean to clear. all to which I agreed to pay. A different person would come the next day to dig in the front yard and repair the broken drainage tube. The next day a young service person came to start the digging after several hours the result! hole in my front yard location of the problem was not identified but a new perforation of the main drain was created by a pick-axe used to di the supposed area of breakage. The service person temporarily patched the new break in the line and advised that this was a 2 person job and that a tram would come to finish the job on Monday (two days later. This estimate was for an additional $2,400.00. Monday no one shows up called the service area and was assured that someone would show up on Tuesday. Tuesday morning received a call from Best home Service advising that because of a scheduling problem they would not be able to service today. Upon my strong protest, they advised that the manager in charge would contact me that same afternoon. You guessed it no call was received. Wednesday morning I called to ask for my money back and get a copy of the camera to find so I did not have to pay for that service again to another service provider. I was advised that the video was not uploaded consequently they could not provide it. I requested a full refund but did not get what I was asking for a partial refund I paid $1,000.00 to have the drain washed and unplugged. I contracted another plumbing company which completed the work by Scoping the drain again identifying the breakage finishing the digging and repairing both breaks in the line the original and the one caused by Best Home Service cleaning und offering sound advice for future maintenance. I consider Best Home Service of Naples Florida a complete scam with little to no expertise in this field, and very poor customer service. My experience with this company and their service, value, and satisfaction is less than POOR. Do not waste your time and money

The worst company you could ever imagine dealing with. I unfortunately have been using Best for years. Why? Because they are fast and convenient compared to some other AC companies. This last experience I had with them led me here though. I will go back to my first negative experience with them - which happened a couple of years ago. The gist is that we had a problem with our AC - we called Best, and they came out and diagnosed our problem. We paid almost $500, and guess what? That was not the problem. They did not give us a refund and provided a service that was then unnecessary. The real problem ended up being that ants ate a small part that cost them $15 to replace on my outside unit. Anyway - fast forward to 2 weeks ago. My AC goes out. I have been talked into a service plan with Best (again) so who do I call? Best of course. They come out and tell me my condenser motor is done. It needs to be replaced. Fortunately, our AC is under warranty, and the part is covered. Unfortunately? Best home services quoted us originally almost $2,400. Luckily for us, the guy told us he could take 10% off if we booked today, AND we would save 10% by having one of their plans. Taking our total to $1,900 something. This price seemed insane to me, being a part that was covered under warranty. However, the guy informed us this would take 3-4 hours to fix (so apparently the going rate is $500 per hour or more). The tech also tried to coax us into buying a brand new unit instead because it made more sense and they offer financing options for our completely covered unit. The guy said they could not get the part until Monday (It was Friday) and that he would call me first thing Monday morning. So my family, including my 3 kids aged 6 and under spent the weekend suffering in the heat. I get a call Monday from this same tech, and he then informs me that our part is NOT covered under warranty, which is a complete joke because I spoke to the manufacturer of the AC that morning before I called, and it WAS covered under warranty. So at this point, I am MAD. It becomes painfully obvious this man is trying to scam us. I no longer want to deal with this tech, and I call back trying to get a manager, someone in charge, or just anyone else to deal with. I called all Monday and was promised I would receive a callback. I never did. After waiting 4 days with no AC - they could not simply call me back. Tuesday I started calling again, and thankfully finally got through to someone. They became ridiculous with me and started saying they would not speak to me, and would not deal with me because the AC unit was not in my name (it is under my grandma, but she is 80, so I handle all of this stuff for her) - I have done business with Best for several years, and not once was it an issue until this time in particular. My grandmother was in the room with the tech the day he initially came in to diagnose as well. After I finally got through to someone they CHANGED THE PRICE!! After lying, and saying that my part was NOT covered under warranty to try and get more money - they upped the price from $1,900 back to $2,200!! I asked them how why/what/ and they told me that was the original quote I received, which was NOT. I had 4 grown adults in the room with the tech when he gave us the quote of $1,900. In the end, we did get the repair done for the $1,900, but it was after 5 days of being uncomfortable, with a company that does not care at all, and tries relentlessly to scam you. To top it off, they canceled my quarterly service now for the second time and told me they would not be able to do it until December, which I also expect them to cancel. So they will now not provide the service I paid for when signing up for the service plan. I am exhausted, stressed out, and tired of dealing with Best. I do NOT recommend them, and I feel bad for the people who are falling...

The Bottom line: You can get your HVAC problems fixed Quicker, more professionally, and definitely at lower cost by many other companies in southwest Florida. I Gave them 1/2 star because there is no option for zero stars. My advice: stay away from this business. I had an air conditioner that stop working. It took them 4 visits using 5 different techs over one week to fix a problem In a system that they had installed 2 years before. The first tech (who arrived 1 ½ hours late for the first appointment of the day) mainly wanted to sell me an automatically renewable maintenance contract. He said he would perform the first maintenance and the problem would be solved. He left without making sure the AC was working - it was not. When called back he misdiagnosed the problem as a leak which he could not locate â because he did not have a dye pack. The next tech (the manager later called him a new guy ) said it was a massive leak but the dye pack could not locate it. They sold me an expensive component isolation test to find the leak. The 2 techs sent to perform the test did not complete it because they found out there was no leak, the problem was a refrigerant underfeed caused by a stuck valve. They replaced the valve without giving me a price or obtaining my consent. I paid the quoted price, because they had performed the work, and I was told that this was an expensive part to replace. The invoice/receipt they sent me did not say that they had replaced the valve, it just said component isolation test. Talking to other area HVAC service companies I found out that the price I had paid was 3-4 times what other businesses charged. I was also told by a tech from a different company that the stuck valve should have been easy to diagnose and fix. I called the company to discuss this situation: misdiagnosis, multiple trips, waste of my time, comparatively high cost, etc. They were willing to give me a small refund provided I signed a paper saying I was satisfied and would agree not to give them negative reviews in writing or orally. I refused to sign. Such deals are probably why they have higher ratings than they deserve. I also canceled the maintenance service contract (in writing within 30 days as was stipulated in the contract), but I still have not received a refund of the refundable portion of the charge (they keep 50 dollars as a transaction fee in any event). Please learn from my mistake and go elsewhere for service.

Very very high quote of 2100 for setting a drop in sink; two hour job tops. Had purchased all the sink components.
