Be careful of this bait and switch contractor. Price changed, he stated it was more work than he thought, this after he inspected the roof and gave me a price. He then proceed to say there was additional repairs to be done that he missed. He wanted to give me a price to do the repairs that he missed when he inspected the first time. Hired a contractor not through HOME ADVISOR.

The end result of the service that we received is that they did not stand by their work. We now have a roof that cold be spotted by an inspector as a problem. They did shoddy work and created many problems.

They came to repair the roof that was damaged by the storm. When I asked for the photos for the insurance company, they just kept telling me that the owner was out of the country. Now, the part of the roof they repaired is leaking and I cannot get in touch with them. I would give the company a zero-star rating if I could.

Owner took time to explain what needed to be done and how he was going to do it. Was very professional. Liked the fact that his business is family orientated.

The owner of Best Quality Roofing Chimney Inc. and his sons did a phenomenal job of repairing and replacing parts of my roof. They started the same day as I got my estimate. My roof was severely damaged by the storm, and it was an emergency. This job took two days to fix. These guys deserve a monument for what they did. I highly recommend Best Quality Roofing Chimney Inc. to anyone who needs work done on their roof. These guys are a Godsend.

I can't see their work quality because it's on the top of the roof. Due to paying cash for the work there was not warranty.

Nick came in, looked at the problems I had (including bad work done by a previous "roofer"), and explained clearly what he would do to fix the roof leaks I was having. Then he gave me a great price. He pulled people off other jobs to do the work the next day, because of the bad leaks coming through the sunroom roof. He returned the next day with his workers & got the job done. In addition, I had him check out some other potential problems I was seeing. One of them was previous work by someone else, which he said was fine. Other issues needed some work done, replacing flashing around 2 fan vents & 2 pipes. All told, it cost me less than I thought it would & after lots of rain the last 24 hours, everything is dry inside. Thanks Nick! P.S. This work was done on my house in Calverton, not Smithtown. HomeAdvisor's system used my old address for this job for some strange reason.

The owner came the same day that I called and gave me an estimate. They came promptly on the day scheduled. They did the work and cleaned everything up. I was extremely pleased with the work.

Took care of issues ( they were minor and more cosmetic) that I was not to happy about the first time

As a professional in the trade also, it's a breath of fresh air to find a quality contractor. Best has done an outstanding job. They showed when they said. They came in on budget and quality. Rest assure if you decide to use them for your project. This was my first and certainly not my last project with Best. I strongly recommend them and endorse them.

nick, the owner of the scs was very pleasant to talk to .very well mannerd and his crew also were very pleasentthey worked none stop and cleaned up all debry but forgot to get rid of theold material, this was important to me since I'm disabled so my landscaper hewlpt me no big deal, other than that ,I'm pleased

I needed them to return to check on the crown they repaired. They never came they would not return calls. I had to call them and their customer service gave me run around.

Best Quality came in about 30% cheaper than the other estimates I received. That made me a little nervous but I did some research and found good things so I hired them. They arrived in the timeframe promised and left the job site cleaned up. The only issue is they seemed a little pushy in trying to get me to agree to extra work. Otherwise, I would use them again for sure.
