Random morning last week we noticed air in our pipes while showering.Checking the basement we found the water heater leaking. Not knowing when it could burst I immediately reached out to Ish and within minutes he returned back and instructed me on what to do over the phone. I didn’t expect a replacement that day as knowing Ish is very busy. That night he actually had a concert for his daughter at school to attend but he still stopped by after his schedule for that day just to see what parts to get along with a new water heater. He pulled the other one out, cleaned up and got organized for the install. What is different about him is he cares and knows his customers and their families and understands all needs. After his daughter’s concert Ish came back and did the install and was at my home well after midnight. Can’t express my gratitude. Thank you

I called at 8:52 PM to offer them a website because I noticed they’re using a free website with no proper domain — something that seriously hurts credibility. The business is listed as Open 24 Hours, so I figured they’d appreciate the heads up. Instead, the guy answers and says, “Do you realize what time you’re calling?” followed by “What kind of business strategy is this?” Seriously? Maybe the better question is — what kind of business strategy is running an HVAC company in 2025 with a free Weebly-looking site that doesn’t even work and snapping at people trying to help you fix it? If this is how they treat someone offering value, I’d hate to see how they treat paying customers. Definitely not the kind of mindset I’d want in charge of my home systems. Stay away.

Ish is honest and dependable. Has always been there on my schedule. Work completed has always been good!

Fair price from a dead-honest dude. Lots of communication and check-ins all throughout the process and quick clean work when installing. Also partnered with a reasonable and easy to work with financing agency. After the full overhaul they did I hope to never need HVAC help again in my life, but if I do I'll definitely be calling these guys.

Wow 🤯 called these guys they picked up on labor day weekend. They were willing to come out i was heading to family party but they said tomorrow meaning Tuesday but Ish ended up coming before i left for the party! Awesome they guys are the real deal

Ish did an amazing job. Knew the problem rt away. My ac unit wasn't working and he came to see what was wrong. He didn't have the part that day but tried to see what he could do to get it running until he got the part. Got the part the following Monday worked until after 10pm to get it done so my family could have ac again. Would definitely rehire and recommend him to anyone!

I needed a new air conditioner for this coming spring and summer I had a couple companies lined up to come to my home here in Bolingbrook, from Best rates heating and cooling from Oswego came out with his daughter, and he noticed that the furnace was giving issues. He asked me if there was anything going on, the amazing part about it is I went down with both of them even his young daughter who is nine years old asked his father and said hey Papa, the furnace is not supposed to be making that booming sound right thatâ s when I knew that I was gonna be going with this company for his daughter to know at such a young age how a furnace should operate he responded with. Itâ s not operating well but weâ re going to figure it out. Keep in mind I had called him for the air conditioner on he checked the age of the unit and the brand-name and he brought me up to speed. My unit was 14 years old after he said what was causing the booming sound was that I had a flexible gas line and he said that he would repair it for me. He also went above and beyond and check the inside of the furnace and the condition with his camera and I saw that it was rusting up in the inside. His professionalism was great he said we can continue to the just AC If you would like to, but you may only have a couple years left. He gave me both options for both. I went forward with him. Right away You canâ t shop that type of customer service. The morning of the install it was raining I thought to myself maybe they will reschedule Shirley enough. They showed up at 7 AM at my doorstep ready to rock â nâ roll. Ish and General Sir good morning and put down flooring cloths and they continue to do the install even in the rain. These guys worked hard and Iâ m excited to use my new Wi-Fi thermostat. They even help me and was patient enough to set it up the WiFi thermostat because I forgot the password and the installation is Came out perfect way better then I expected. Definitely recommend them.! Ask for ISH!!!!! Thanks guys

Ish Medellin (Owner) is very professional and knowledgeable. My furnace was running but not blowing hot air. He arrived within the predetermined time slot as promised. Was extremely thorough with explaining the issue (needed maintenance), identified the product that needed to be replaced at a reasonable price. Due to my health condition he recommended a product identified as an Air Scrubber. Itâ s purpose is to remove impurities from the air; and, improve the overall air quality within my home. I would highly recommend contacting this company if you have any HVAC issues. Overall I received amazing customer service. In addition pricing was fair and affordable.

Ish took my call on Saturday for an estimate on a new furnace and came out on Sunday. He was very personable and knowledgeable. His estimate included a new filter rack for a larger filter, install of a furnace box for better air flow under the furnace, replaced the plastic tube drain with pvc drain coil directly into the drain, new gas pipe, fittings, electrical, and new PRO Thermostat; all for a very fair price. He and his crew came early Tuesday morning. The job took roughly 6 hours from start to finish. They did a very thorough and professional job. Ish took pictures to show me and my husband the cracks in 4 coils he found, one crack was large enough for the flame to burn through and damage the flame sensor. These cracks were very serious, as CO2 could have been leaking but also, as Ish pointed out, the large breach in one coil could have burned our house down. Please let this be a warning to all - have your furnace coils checked after the warranty expires. Our furnace was 30 years old. We were very lucky! Also, in conversation, I found out that Ish is very involved with the Watch Dog Dads Program in his daughter's school district. I worked in another district who also participates in the Watch Dog Dads Programs. Kudos to you Ish!

Called and made an appointment with Ish on Sunday. He arrived on time out to Aurora at the Window that was promised. I was not getting enough cooling upstairs. He was very thorough. As a single Mother it was nice to have a trustworthy company. He not only fixed the issue but, also gave me options to prolong the life on the AC i joined the maintenance plan cant wait for them to clean the furnace and be ready for winter.

I called about a problem with my A/C, he came out within the hour and had it solved within half an hour. Great setvice.

I called at 8:30 last night when our AC stopped working, expecting to leave a message. Instead, Ish not only answered, he remembered us from servicing our AC and installing our thermostat five years ago, and was at the house before noon today. He knows his stuff and takes care of customers!

Ish came out to my home in Aurora the next day! He was prompt, courteous, thorough and professional!

This was our first time needing an HVAC service for our house (AC unit issues) and Ish, Nick and Genaro did a fantastic job! I met with Ish first to diagnose the problem. He is super knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions confidently and thoroughly. He was honest in explaining our options for our budget. He gave me estimates for multiple different scenarios I asked for and I never felt pushed into the more expensive option (and I am typically quite a skeptic when it comes to these types of things)! He also really took his time while at my house. I didnâ  t feel like I was rushed or that my questions were a bother to him. We decided to replace our whole unit and him and his team were able to come back just three days later! The install was smooth, they cleaned up all the work areas really well, and the whole team is very personable (and dog friendly, which I appreciate)! Overall, our experience was the best case scenario, and we will be using Ish and his team for all our future AC/Furnace maintenance!

My furnace and AC were on their last leg. Ish provided a competitive bid and took the time to completely review my options. They completed the work on a Sunday to help minimize the impact of an install would have on me as I work from home. Ish and Genarro installed the equipment, walked me through the new controls before they left. They also cleaned up after themselves and you wouldnâ t know that they were there afterwards. The serviceman  was 3 hours late without letting me know; his shirt had holes in it. His vehicle did not appear to be in good working condition. He was courteous and seemed knowledgeable.

Ish installed an air conditioner for me last summer and came back this week to do annual maintenance on it and my furnace. He worked to find an A.C. that fit my budget. He is very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I did not feel pressured at all. He takes the time to explain what he is doing. He is careful not to damage walls, etc., and is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Ish to anyone looking for quality workmanship, a fair price, and pleasant and superior service. On the day we were getting an estimate, our existing furnace completely failed. We were pleased with the estimate and planned to proceed and have Best Rates Heating and Cooling install our new furnace, but hadn't realized the urgency. Ismael adjusted his schedule and the schedule of one of his employees so they could install our new furnace the next day. Everything proceeded smoothly the next day just as Ismael promised! By early afternoon, we had our new furnace and a warm house! The area where the furnace was installed was left cleaner than when they arrived! I am very pleased with their knowledge and their ability to communicate and answer any question we had. I highly recommend Ismael and his crew for any work that you need to have done.

My furnace went out and Home Advisor recommended Best Rates Heating and Cooling. After reading all the great reviews, we gave them a call. Ish (the owner) came by and tried his hardest to repair our very old furnace (he spent most of the afternoon on it). Unfortunately, it needed replacing. He thoroughly explained our options on what could be done. And, he did indeed give us the best rate! While he got the parts needed, Ish brought over a couple of space heaters so that my family and I were able to keep warm until he could do the install the following day. Ish and his son Giovanni arrived in the morning and did a thorough job of replacing the furnace, flue, and the exhaust fan. He explained everything that was done and made sure to do the job right. And although he said he may not be able to complete the job in one day, that is exactly what he did. Under promising and over delivering is always a welcome change. My family can now be warm for the holiday weekend thanks to Ish and Giovanni. I also commend Ish for showing his son the ropes on a job that is so valued and necessary. And I hope the young man continues to grow in his knowledge of this valued trade.
