Better Basements & Beyond

If i could rate this place NEGATIVE I would. Between the owners being alcoholics that drink on the job, to the way they handle business. Ive personally worked for this "business" and ive seen the owner, Seth, go through peoples items, tools, fishing gear, and anything else of interest to him, and had to talk about NOT stealing peoples personal belongings inside the truck. The workers dont get paid, me being one of them. I have MULTIPLE EX EMPLOYEES to back that up. Dont go to a place thats going to rip you off. I have personally have had the conversations with the owners about morals and not stealing personal items. I have screenshots and other messages to prove how they run this business. I would NEVER hire this business let alone work for them. They will actually go out of the way to make fake accounts to harass you, because they feared I was going to tell the truth. I have screenshots of everything.

I was very impressed with Seth and his crew! We had a horrible water situation in our basement (bought an older home and the first heavy rain revealed serious water issues! ugh!) and knew it needed a serious solution if we wanted to be able to use our basement for storage. Seth provided a free quote and even suggested additional solutions with pricing options. He communicated with me quickly by text and took the time to explain every step of the process. At the end of each work day, he would walk me through all the work that had been done that day (again, answering any of my questions). The guys worked hard for four days, in some pretty hot and humid conditions! Seth also pointed out some other problem areas in my basement as they did their work and made recommendations on how to resolve those issues (there was some wood rot on the stairway area and a leaking water bib; he even gave me the name of a contractor for replacing my rain gutters outside when I was ready). Seth installed a basement dry system along all four walls of the basement, two sump pumps in opposite corners, and a lateral across the middle of the basement. I chose Better Basements & Beyond because it is a local company (not some big box company just out to make a buck) but also because Seth actually does the work himself (again, no fancy representative doing a sales pitch who doesn't get his hands dirty). He stands by his work and makes sure it it done to the highest standards. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone who needs water mitigation services.

My experience with Seth and the crew was great! Seth came out for the estimate and then to do the work timely. They are knowledgeable, hard workers, did a great job, completed it timely and stayed within budget. I'd definitely recommend this company!

Seth and Chris responded to the request instantly and came out and provided great estimate and suggested other improvements that I needed for my home. I appreciated that they were honest, answered all of my questions and all of the workers were friendly and knowledgeable. I get 3 estimates for my work. They were $2,000 less. Seth came the same day I called. A 2hr. Trip from my house. Explained what needed to be done. I appreciate no hidden fees after completing my basement. I will be calling them again
