We love the results! Just finished our latest project with Bruce and his team from Better Homes Construction. As far as contractors go, Bruce was very easy to work with. Remodeling an older home always has its surprises and of course additional expenses that come up because of them. Anyone who starts a remodel should expect this-unless you have x-ray vision! And of course we also got more creative and came up with new design ideas-Bruce was very fair with our options. We had choices. They showed up every day during the project and took VERY little time off during the whole project time. I loved seeing the progress!

low-ball price produce endless problems and 'thats extra'. hanging doors and painting, forget it!

"The extra was for the sound walls, the more expensive doors and added areas. The fact we had to use a bobcat with jackhammer attachment to carve the footing and crawl space out of solid rock was at no charge."

We used Bruce Hill 'Better Homes Construction' for a major remodel and addition to our house. We had Bruce Hill and his crew take our existing 1640 SF house down to the studs, remove pretty much all walls, convert 1 1/2 car garage and boat garage into living space, build a new garage, add on about 500 SF. They reinforced and leveled the foundation, built the retaining wall, addressed external drainage issues by adding gravel pits and installing french drain, changed the plumbing, electrical, roofing, , installed hardwood floor, new windows and doors, reinforced the attic and framed the loft, and the list can go on. Bruce Hill is competent, and 100% hands-on project, working closely with his team and sub-contractors through the entire project. Each stage of construction was executed according to building code, resulting in passing various inspections, conducted by the county from the first time. We are generally satisfied with the end results and recommend 'Better Homes Construction'.

Bruce is a good problem solver, took care of many unexpected issues. He and his team have great breadth of experience and is able to address plumbing, electrical, floor installation, network wiring and other tasks.
