We hired BetterWay Excavating this fall to demolish and remove an old concrete pool deck on our property. The project also consisted of hauling away of all the concrete, and metal from the old pool deck, and then bringing in topsoil to fill in the area where the pool deck and pool was located, as well as putting down grass seed in that area. Scottâ s quote was the best priced out of several that we obtained. Scott did a very professional and thorough job on the project. He did a great job organizing the project, and went above and beyond even doing some additional work, which included removing the old pool filters, removing some tree/shrub roots that were near the pool deck, hand saw cutting some of the concrete that was near a wall, and near a building, etc. He also did a great job grading the entire area, and seeding with grass seed. Scott did the entire project in just two days, as promised. We would highly recommend BetterWay Excavating!

Scott gave us the best priced estimate. Did an awesome job redoing our stone driveway. Leveled existing driveway, spread stone and rolled to pack it down. Excellent work. Highly recommend.

We hired these guys in June for 2 jobs. The most important and expensive job was to "Install a 30ft precast drain pipe from our drive down to our pond to remove surface water" that kept us from mowing our acerage. It does not work. In fact its somehow swampier than it was before. We cant even use a push mower so once again we are in danger of housing copperhead snakes which love to hang out in the soupy tall grass around our pond. Ive called these guys 4 times (they screen calls at all times) and I've never had a return call. This is not cheap work and its a dangerous situation. I want to give people a heads up. I am now forced to waste time and energy in an attempt to hold this company responsible for their work, or lack there of. I must now.... 1- Leave honest reviews, 2-Report to BBB, 3- File a complaint with the licensing board, 4- Use social media platforms to air my grievances, 5- contact my credit card company to see where I stand on purchase protection, 6- Possibly even sue through Small Claims court.

BetterWay Excavating gave me the lowest price of the three estimates I got on excavating, grading, and power raking my 7000 sq ft back yard (I am doing the grass seeding myself). They arrived early, completed the work in a day and a half, and did a great job. I fully recommend them.

Hired BW Excavating to regrade my yard and cut swale to handle runoffs. Great work throughout, owner is communicative and actively seeks homeowner`s inspection and approval. Would hire him again.

Scott was very responsive and professional. He arrived when he said he would, completed the job in the given time frame. Even though we had a hard rain the day before there was next to no mud left on our property. I would certainly hire Better Way Excavating again.
