Beyler took over my project after they merged with another company. Initially, I was satisfied with the contract to finish my short plat and the work that they completed in a timely manner. However, everything changed when I needed additional work and we agreed to do it under 'Time and Material'; that's when I noticed a big change with their quality of service. Simple things weren't done such as setting corners for my survey. The majority of my survey was already completed by the other company except for my corners not being set. So far, I've paid approx. 3 times more than I've ever paid for an incomplete survey and it took a lot longer. I've never seen a company have to set up multiple lasers and still fail to set corners on more than one occasion. How many site visits does it take to complete a survey? After the last site visit, I had to tell them that I wasn't paying them any more money for my corners to be set. I still don't know if all of my corners are set, but I've gotten a bill and a friendly reminder that I'm past due. I've never received a call or email advising that all of my corners are now set and my survey is complete. What ever happened to getting paid when the work is done?? They also like to overcharge for 'Professional Personnel' services when it's T&M. I started to feel like I couldn't call or email as I would be charged at least $100. I'm familiar with the short platting process. I was very involved and even completed my Work Order requirements myself due to how my project was being handled. The average person wouldn't know what to expect from and a civil engineer, but I know from experience that they turned a relatively easy project into a headache at my expense. I could go on and on about delays and more charges for simple redline corrections to my short plat map, but I'm done and I'll NEVER use Beyler for anything again. If I ever need a survey done in the future, I'll go back to the last company that completed my surveys on time and on budget. I'll also NEVER agree to 'Time and Material' again. When I first started, they were growing and had moved into a new building. Somewhere in the process of the move and merger, they forgot about why they needed more space in the first place. In my opinion, they forgot about how to treat their clients. Learn from my mistake. If I can save one person from going through what I experience, it was worth me writing this review.

Landon actually was able to come out a day early. Walked and talked me through the details. Great customer service personality.

If you have a question about something you built they have a lot of knowledge. But comes at a steep price for basic answers. Example "how can I get this building permitted" answer " tear it down and rebuild different "

So professional and honorable! I am a widow and many people see that as an opportunity to take advantage of. They were so professional and treated me as their most prized customer. I was in the real estate business for 35 years and am now retired. There is no question that I would of made them a part of my networking!

I asked Landon Beyler to evaluate a couple walls I wanted to move/remove. My contractor was present so we were able to cover a lot of options and evaluate costs on the spot. Landon was very thorough and precise. I really appreciated his input and ideas. My "dream-wall removal" is going to be a little more expensive than I originally thought so we are still in process of deciding options. Am looking forward to continuing to work with Beyler.

Mr.Beyler cashed the check and went on vacation without providing the report for the inspection he conducted. Extremely poor customer service and business practices. Do yourself a favor and find another engineer!

Great guy, but phone tag is inevitable. Good people are in demand.

We had difficulty touching bases. Once we got together the exchange was pleasant and professional. We got what we wanted although I have further questions I hope to get answered about our project.

I had never had to use a land survey company before and I found the experience, easy, professional and I appreciated the information and quickness in getting things taken care of!

Not only did Beyler Consulting provide exceptional customer service including always being on time, first rate CAD drawings for our project, and excellent engineering advice, they spoke with city permit officials when the city had questions about the project that went beyond the scope of their drawings. I would recommend them to anyone!
