Big League Painting

First of all, Gerald was a no show for our scheduled estimate appt. When we followed up, he said he was sick. We rescheduled, he gave us a reasonable estimate and we scheduled the service. During the estimate, we mentioned that we were planning to rip up the carpet to put in hardwood floors. Gerald assured us that everything would still be covered and protected. He showed up late with his 2 sons to complete the work. I had my in-laws present while the service was being performed. Gerald left the house with no indication that there were any problems. When I arrived home, the first thing I noticed was a huge paint spill on my living room carpet. The paint had also splattered onto the sliding door, the baseboard, nearby electrical cords, my television, DVD player, and sound speakers. Upon further inspection, there were paint splatters everywhere! On couches, tables, window blinds, hardwood floors, kitchen chairs. None of my belongings had been covered or protected! When my husband contacted Gerald to explain our disappointment, Gerald admitted he spilled the paint and apologized. He did not offer to remedy the situation. My husband insisted he come back to clean up. Gerald returned with 3 people to clean up the mess. He had a multipurpose cleaner with him, but asked if we had paper towels he could use to clean up. Throughout this process Gerald insisted that not all of the paint splatters were from him. He denied responsibility for the mess and seemed bothered to have to clean up after himself. When asked specifically to clean paint off of my yoga mat, he responded that those are inexpensive and I should just buy a new one. Gerald offered to take$250 off his fee. I did not feel that we should pay him at all, but we were eager to have him leave our home. The entire experience was unsatisfactory.

Gerald and his team did a great job in painting the rooms including a high ceiling living room. Very responsible and keep his words in working on the areas that he promised to work on. We had a pleasant experience working with Big League Painting.

Good work, on time, delivered on what was promised. Will use them for future projects too.
