Contractors left screws, cigarette butts and razors all around the outside of my house and on inside. They don't believe in using say plastic sheets when doing drywall jobs, I had 1/2 inch of dust everywhere in my house, and found drywall mud on my sofa. Owner seemed to think this was not a problem. I can see seams in my drywall and one wall looks like they wrote the number 100 on the drywall. My sliding glass door is nice, they did go to the trouble of getting and Anderson door, good quality. I had to suggest a way to make some moulding match previous moulding to these "professionals." They installed a new front door but used interior moulding for that? I should not have to suggest ways to do a moulding job to a professional.

Response from Company:

Thank you for sharing your feedback, both positive and constructive. While the quality of the door impressed you, and you seemed to be happy with many other aspects of the project during our many previous conversations, Im sorry to learn from your review that your experience couldve been better. If you had anything that you wanted us to address during or after construction, we wouldve been happy to accommodate those requests during one of the two walk-throughs we had with you as we wrapped up the project, and even now, 1-week past completion. The reviews that you have posted on many platforms differ from one to the other. Nonetheless, it sounds like dust was a consistent concern between the reviews. I was present when drywall texture was being applied, and the crew did have plastic sheets hung from the ceiling in the area they were working in. Furthermore, it was stated in both 1) the construction contract and 2) in verbal conversation 4 different times that it would be dusty, and that dust would spread throughout your house. When I visited the project after the sanding to check on the project, I will admit that there was dust throughout the house, but again? to be expected, it is a construction project in the middle of your house after all. There was not however, ½? of dust everywhere in your house like stated in one of your reviews. To put this into perspective, a typical new-build, whole-house drywall job, doesnt even come close to producing a ½? of dust, even with potentially many days of sanding. Your job included 2-3 hours of sanding. Even though it is specifically stated in the construction contract that we would not provide a deep clean, we did offer to send in a cleaning crew to clean, and your husband said that it was not needed. In the same review you state that the molding was an interior trim used for the door, I believe that was in reference to the brick molding, which in fact is an exterior molding specifically for doors. In another review you say that the screen door has an issue (which it did- It arrived from the manufacturer with a ¼? hole in it) and that you believe we wont take care of it. I believe that I have been very transparent that we have been working with Andersen for a replacement. In fact, 5 hours prior to you posting this review I had sent the invoice for this project, and specifically made a note stating that I am working with Andersen to get you another screen on its way. Why write something negative, without giving the outcome time to materialize? Even though you have left us with multiple poor reviews, on multiple platforms, we still plan on getting you that screen. In reference to the other items of concern, it is definitely out of character for our staff to leave trash behind, but could have been overlooked on our end. As a company we have discussed these items at length with our personnel, to ensure we maintain a high level of quality and customer care. I assure you; we take customer satisfaction very seriously. It is a top priority, and would love the opportunity to make it up to you. We have made efforts in the last week to reach out to you with no response. Our line of communication on our end is open, as always. Please contact us: call us at 970-778-1776.
