We hired Kyle in the fall to move a used hot tub; it went well. He said we?d need parts to get it running. On March 12, I asked him to order parts and complete install, wiring, and repairs. He came to my business, wrote a quote of $1117.50, (the2 parts being $860). I paid $860 parts deposit, and said he?d contact me when parts arrived. After 3 weeks, I followed up; he said they hadn?t been delivered. Days later, he claimed FedEx delivered them but he couldn?t find the package and had escalated it. I said my father works for FedEx for 24 yrs and I?d call him. He immediately said he found the package and would install the next morning. He came, claimed to install a new heater and wiring, but said the supplier sent one wrong part. We had photos of the original heater from when we purchased the HT, and it was clearly the same unit. Then, he wrote me an invoice for $425 for the install, increasing his original bid. When confronted about the same heater, he threatened lawsuit for $425

I originally contacted him on November 14, 2025 and he tried helping me diagnose the problem with my hot tub over messaging, which was great, but he had to come out the next day and take a look at it. So on November 15, 2025 I paid him $85 for diagnosis and $449 for a new Circuit Board. I was told it would be 7-10 days for shipping and he would let me know when he received it. On December 4, 2025 he said the package was delivered, but he didn't receive it so he was talking to UPS about it... On December 10, 2025 he told me the part was shipped and he was waiting on email confirmation and to expect 3-5 day shipping. I haven't heard from him since, even after messaging 4 times throughout the following month...

He was able to come out the same day for our hot tub repair. Kyle was very up front with us about the pricing for the part we needed and even showed us the pricing options online. We have him coming back for regular maintenance now since we were so impressed with his initial repair work!
