He was prompt, knowledgeable, and didn't try to talk me into a new unit even though it really *does* need to be replaced soon! He was able to fix the issue within a few minutes so spent the rest of the hour doing some unexpected maintenance kind of things that weren't really on my list, with no extra charge.

My air conditioning went out on a 104-degree Saturday (doesn't it always?), so I needed an emergency visit. I had to go back to service magic for a second set of names because all the services who claimed "emergency service" said they couldn't come out till Monday. I called Bill directly--he provides his direct line so you don't have to talk to intermediary office staff. He told me what time he could be there, and he arrived exactly on time. He fixed the problem promptly and only charged $75. I would highly recommend him, and he will be my heating/AC guy from now on.

Bill came on time, was very congenial and very experienced. My son is owner operator of a HVAC company in Alabama. I described my problem to him and he told me what he thought was wrong. I didn't mention that to Bill though. Bill diagnosed the problem and fixed the exact thing that my son had mentioned. He fixed the problem and did other test on the system. He did a very professional job and the a/c is still running and believe me in this heat, it was money well spent. I comment Bill for his excellent work and would recoment him to other people.
