Ms Pelkey is a star. We were far from home in unfamiliar territory, needed an appraisal for a home belonging to a seriously ill relative, and had little time to accomplish that and a myriad of other tasks. Ms Pelkey arrived right on time and assured us she would provide us with a number very quickly and would follow up with a full report while we were still in the town. She covered the house from top to bottom and all around, measuring, taking notes, lots of pictures, and her final report was as comprehensive a study of every detail we would need to know that is traditionally used to value a home. Her professionalism was impeccable, her evaluation was comprehensive, and she left us fully aware of the home value and quite relieved to have the information at our fingertips. We can't thank Ms Pelkey enough for her immense knowledge and assistance at a time when sorely needed. She is the best.

This appraiser did shoddy work and did not seem to really use anything other than tax-assessed value. The comparables she used and the value she came up with did not seem to match. We were very unhappy with her work and would not recommend her. I am sorry we did not do more research to find a more qualified professional.
