Landscape - Minor Grading or Resloping
Had issues - not worth going into the detail. Bottom-line - does not stand by his warranty and does not return phone calls when there is an issue.

"We stand by ALL warranties. Customer was completely satisfied with grading project. Hired us to plant some shrubs and then had them moved. They became stressed but did not die. Can provide all emails between us and customer to view correspondence if you are interested. Thank you!!"

Landscape - Install Landscaping for Yard or Garden
Bill and Billie are nice people. This was the first time we ever hired someone to do our lawn and this team is just OK. I also hired them to do some repairs around my house. Remember that Bill is only a handy man he knows how to cut grass. He is not licensed to do other work. He says he can do it, but do not expect professional work.

Completely unqualified. Totally incompetent. Bill may be good as a landscaper but as a handyman he is not. It took him 4 tries to hang vertical blinds. I have 20 extra holes in my wall because he doesn't know how to measure or level. He gave no apologies. Very unprofessional.

"This consumer wanted the blinds straight on the wall but no gap at the floor. I tried explaining to her and showed her with a level that the floor was not level and to compensate for this we needed to have a gap at the bottom. She didn't understand."

Landscape - Install Landscaping for Yard or Garden
Bill was professional and courteous. I can't say the same for Billie. The work was done well, however, a tree was destroyed and my front lawn was damaged in the process. An attempt was made to repair the front lawn. As requested, I provided one half the payment up front which was over three weeks before the work was completed. After the work was completed I received an invoice for the balance due. Two days after receiving the invoice I started receiving phone calls wondering where the money was. As a service professional myself I found it harassing the calls and attitude I received wondering where their mony was so shortly after the completion of the work. Considering they work in a business that could benefit from referrals I was appalled as to how they treat their customers and the lack of professionalism. I would never use their services again, nor would I recommend anyone use their services either.

"A tree was not destroyed. The tree was trimmed back from blocking the entrance gate to the backyard in order to get our equipment thro the gate. The customer was informed before the job was started that a bobcat would be used to bring in topsoil into the backyard and we would repair any lawn damage with replacement sod. The contract stated a start date & payment day of completion. 7 days passed."

The third service, my lawn was not to my satisfaction. There were large clumps of grass clippings through the lawn and clippings on the sidewalk and driveway. I contacted Bill's service to correct the situations. While their communication was courteous and professional, they were unable to correct the service to my satisfaction. I had to wait four days for them to return and was told they would only remove the clippings in the future if they were notified to bag the clippings. I stated that I would expect them not to leave their own lawns in this condition. They shouldn't leave mine without correction the same day, before leaving the site.

Lawn Care - Fertilize or Treat a Lawn
Making the appointment took a number of back and forth calls over a number of days, but when I did get to speak with someone, they were able to get me an appointment within a week. I was given a 2 hour window that Bill would be able to come to roto-till, and he did arrive within that window. The work only took about 15 minutes to complete, so $100 seemed a bit of a steep price, but I had no luck getting any other companies to return my call for the job so I am not sure what a comparison price would be. Our garden is boxed in with wooden boards, and all of them were split at the corners (the screws were separated from the boards they were joining) - but I imagine that is because he couldn't get in the corners very well, and if we had rented the machinery to do it ourselves, we might have done even more damage. Bill was nice, and I would still consider contacting him for other work.

We were a bit disappointed with the quality of the paint job. After completion we could still see writing on the walls through the paint. The walls were not patched prior to painting in some areas. Great job on the ceramic tile and the cabinet installation. This was our first experience with Bill's and we have learned many lessons for next time. We will use again!
