Takes your deposit and is gone for weeks. I felt is grossly incompetent. He will try to get you to accept a different job than the one he signed up for and wreak your property. It seems he almost certainly wrote the positive reviews himself. Google his name and read the articles. Do not give this guy any money.

BUYER BEWARE! Check Better Business Bureau rating (F) and be prepared for continuous problems. Our 7-week project took nearly 5 months and required dozens of calls to the owner (Mr. Fresa, who disappeared for weeks), contact with law enforcement and state agencies, and two work crews to complete the job. My best advice is DO NOT contact this company!

Kurt came to us in February, in 4 feet of snow, and began planning our project. The crew that he sent to do the installation was absolutely top-shelf. Jesse, Jeanie, T.J., Jerry and Ben were delightful people to be around. They took great pains to describe each step of the project, and ask if it was what we wanted. The final result was far more elegant than anything my wife and I had envisioned when we first discussed having a porch put on. I cannot count the number of neighbors and passersby who have stopped and commented on what a beautiful job these folks did on our porch. Would HIGHLY recommend.

We haven't started with installation of the windown, but their estimate was fair and there wasn't any presure to sign a contract right away. I could get other estimates and then decide. Within 2-3 weeks Iwill have new windows. This part of the process hs gone ok so far.

I would recommend Builtwell to others that may be looking for a deck contractor. Jessie Bowman and I discussed the project up front and came together with a plan on how the deck would be built. It turned out great.

The project was slow to start and four months later it is still not completed. The part of the driveway and sidewalk that has been completed turned out great; although, now it has been discovered a concrete mix with a lower PSI than contracted was ordered for my project (3500 vs. 4000 PSI). After filing paperwork with various agencies for a resolution without sucess, I was able to make contact with Kurt (the owner of Biltwell) and came up with a verbal agreement which falls short of contract but will be best for both parties involved. He, so far, has made a good faith effort to show that he is willing to follow through. Getting closer.
