Craftsmen and Gentlemen We hired Mike and his men to replace planks and refinish our deck, along with painting our railings and screen porch. They have also replaced the ceiling fan on the screen porch and refurbished our doors. When damage to our chimney enclosure was discovered, Mike provided expert repair at a very reasonable price. Best of all, these hard-working gentlemen have been punctual, polite and have provided careful craftsmanship to all of their tasks. We are so pleased with their work that we’ve already contracted them to do a complete renovation of our master bathroom. We could not be more pleased with the work and the men doing it. Overall, the work was messy and inadequate. The project was to enclose an open room with a door and wall, fix wood flooring, and paint the interior of the room. The paint job was quite messy and Mike Lanigan (our constructor) did not take the necessary precautions to tape/cover things that should not have paint on it. He ended up charging us over double the amount for flooring (a 10 x 10ft room) when other constructors gave us a quote for only $200. I understand there were a couple frustrations that grew during the term of this project like not having the right quality of paint and such but this could have been avoided if he told us after the 1st/2nd coat to buy him better brand of paint. Instead, he blamed us for giving him a difficult project and us not knowing enough. We did not appreciate this, and we ended up having to pay $610 more than the original quote.

What can I say... not enough. Mike Lannigan takes pride in his work. He gave my 15 year old townhome, which I had been renting out, a much-needed facelift including repainting, re-carpeting, plumbing, misc. repairs, tiling, exterior bay window repair, and even a deep clean. He is honest, prompt in work time and responses. Not only is he thorough and professional in his business ethic, but also is a caring person. I would recommend him in a heartbeat and look forward to working with him again in the near future on my own home.

I can't recommend Mike enough! We were selling our home and had multiple projects that needed to be tackled before listing it both big and little. He walked through and was able to address every issue, including a large basement clean up and remodel. He was on time and was very easy to communicate with (including being patient with me while working through all the decisions). He was aware of our budget and worked hard to meet or beat it. His work is clean and finished impeccably. I have no doubt that his work resulted in us getting $6,000 over our asking price! I will absolutely hire him again and look froward to working with him in the future.

A Little Bit of Everything, LLC was exactly what I was needed when seeking a company to perform long overdue, major repairs on my home. The scope of work involved a second story deck replacement, painting of kitchen cabinets, master bath tiling with a shower redo, and complete renovation of lower level of house post water damage from eight years of bad plumbing, just to name a few. Mike Lannigan, the owner, is a one-man show, so one must have time and patience. The payoff is exceptional quality from a well-organized, reasonably priced, self-motivated, highly skilled, and trustworthy person. He takes a vested interest in his clients, so do not be surprised when you consider him a member of your family. Gaining Mike as a friend was an added bonus. I am having him return for the Phase II projects, and I realize I am in the back of the line behind Mike's other clients. I am more than happy to wait.

Mike did a wonderful job putting up the swing for Zach. Since Zach is autistic he needed the swing for sensory input and Mike donated his time on a Saturday. Always good work and he cleans ups after finished. We highly recommend Mike for his quality work, fair price and integrity in his business.

Great experience working with Mike Lannigan of A Little Bit of Everything, LLC, remudded the walls of my garage, painted the garage walls and completed a mosaic glass tile backsplash in my kitchen. The work completed by Mike was very professional and the price charged was very fair for the work completed. His work was completed timely and I liked the fact I felt comfortable to allow to them to complete the work and know the work was going to be completed right. Owner/operator of A Bit of Everything LLC, Mike, was a pleasure to work with from the beginning. We were handling the deck replacement from 3 states away (via my father as a manager) but he truly made it seamless, painless and worry-free. We had a deadline, but he got started right away and met it despite challenging winter weather. He removed and rebuilt our deck leaving the grounds very clean and presentable. The quality of the project was excellent and competitively/reasonably priced with all the labor, parts, and cost itemized on his invoice. . But his professionalism, customer service and communication is what really distinguishes him from the many contractors I have dealt with. Unprompted daily updates on his progress, frequent pics and honest assessments and advise on how to handle hiccups along the way. Mike was honest, hard-working and reliable. I would without a doubt recommend his services to anyone in the area and would definitely use his company again if needed. My father was so impressed with his work he said he would also use his company in the future. 5 stars work, quality and customer service.....cant beat that!

Great experience! Spoke with a few contractors but Mike was available, friendly, and professional. Gave me an itemized quote and since I stressed time as a factor was really willing to work with me on that. Once he started he was all in, kept me updated on progress and there were no surprise fees. Finished the project, which was installing a new staircase, not replacing but starting from scratch, in a grand total of about three or four days, including time to correct some unforeseen issues (which, again, did not result in any crazy new fees, he was always very upfront about costs and did not try and slip anything by us or any nonsense like that). The stairs have been working out great. I will definitely be calling on him again for future home repairs or additions or whatever comes up.

The specific project category is far too narrow for what Mike and his team did. We needed to very quickly get my parent's house ready to put on the market. This involved repair of sheetrock on ceilings and walls as well as painting a two story great room that was no small task. The results look fantastic. They also pressure cleaned the entire exterior including gutters and freshened up all the exterior beds and plants that had been in years of neglect and disrepair. He also cleaned out years of collected items that needed sorting for donation or destruction. Not an easy task either. This was all done with Mike working with me by long distance and he could not have been more professional and easy to work with on this project. Highly recommended.

I had my deck extended, resealed and my house power washed. They did a great job! They were all professional, friendly and cleaned up. I would recommend this company!!! I have other projects and will use them in the future. Thanks Mike!!

Had to select just one category from the list provided, but in fact Mike and his crew have completed quite a few home projects for us over the past year, some sizable and some posted on the company Facebook page. The jobs include installing an exterior door and repairing another one; replacing two basement ceilings due to water damage; installing a large bathroom vanity and cabinets, with structural adjustments to the walls; installing sod; plumbing and electrical work; renovating a stairway to remove carpet, refinish the wooden steps and install a ceramic tile design on the risers; putting in a long stepping-stone path across a hilly wooded part of our back yard; creating a dry-laid clay brick paver walkway on one side of the house; and a major 200-ft-long French drain project with dry creek bed (river rock) and stepping stones over one portion of it. Needless to say, we are happy to have found someone who is so versatile and willing to learn and who has high standards where results are concerned, although the demand for that type of service can mean a wait for one's turn to come around.

They did a great job with the repair. They were careful to wait for the drywall to set properly, even though that meant coming out on an extra day from quite a distance. They were on time, neat, and respectful.

Mike quickly assessed the problem and fixed it on the spot. He saw that it was not as serious or complicated as another repair company had thought. That saved me about $150. Will definitely call Mike the next time we need a repair.
