They did a fantastic job with our bathroom remodel. They installed a custom tile shower that looks amazing as well as tiled the floor and about halfway up the walls of the rest of the bathroom. They installed our new toilets and vanity/countertop and everything looks great. They were friendly and honest. Highly recommend!

Initially, I was told the job would be less than two months. They abandoned the job in the sixth month with cabinet and lighting installation incomplete. Furniture, lighting, and other items were damaged.

My contractor kept me up to date on what was going on at my house at all times. When it comes time for me to put an addition on and do a garage, I will call BH Construction again!!!

I hired this company to remodel my bathroom based on the reviews here. Problems encountered: 1. First week there, they flooded my basement laundry room by leaving my main water leaking for the weekend. They wrapped paper towels around the main water valve before they left on a Friday afternoon so they had to have known it was still leaking. I had inches of water standing when I got home from work that night. Shut off my gas and didn t restart my furnace or water heater during a snow storm 2. Tub plug doesn t work in my brand new tub. I specifically wanted a tub in order to bathe my grandchildren when they visit. The tub doesn t hold water and the design doesn t allow for a drain plug to be used. 3. I requested a standard height shower to replace my extremely high shower. They lowered it so much it nearly too short for my 5 4 height. I felt that only portions of what I wanted was listened to. Some of his workers claimed he was super forgetful. I had to resend my choices for fixtures multiple times 4. Tub is gouged and they tried to cover it up (poorly, I might add) 5. Medicine cabinet sits on the vanity. And my faucet choice had to be revised. They nearly couldn t find one that fit. I asked why things weren t measured first before they installed anything or cut holes into my walls. Refused to answer. 6. Make sure you keep all of your invoices and check the math.

Communication was quick, but the project manager was not on the same page for multiple instances. We had to reorder the shower door since we didn’t get the opportunity to pick one with the contractor (it was chosen for us). My wife and I thought painting an entire wall in a room would mean painting the rest of the room as well to match, but I was told it would cost an extra 1500 to paint the rest of the bedroom and the project end date was off about 2 months. The workers were great and do great work, but we did not feel like we were getting the attention we needed for our project from the project manager nor was he being 100 percent upfront or thorough with his estimates/ work even after an itemized contract was requested at the beginning.

Had them do a kitchen remodel. Great bunch of guys. Even came in under budget. Will definitely call for future projects.

very hard to work with after agreement was signed. Glued drywall onto unprimed concreat block when he said he was going to put 2X2"s behind it on the concreat. Said he could put in a ventilating system & when it didn't work said he had never put one in & had to redo it with added days onto the job. I would not hirer him again

It was easy to schedule a time convenient for me. They arrived on time and the team was very efficient in completing the duct and dryer vent cleaning. They found the dryer hose was kinked and fixed it without charge. I was very satisfied with the overall service and will use them again in the future.

I just moved in and had dog pee in the furnace. The whole house stunk. Black Hills Construction, LLC was the first to respond and fixed it! I was so excited I wasn’t sure what I was going to do. Knowledgeable and fast!

The work was not completed according to the contract terms. The work was substandard, They refused to negotiate any deductions based on the work that wasn't done, yet they still demanded payment in full. Do your research before signing a contract!

Would not hire again

Had Mr. Haag done the work, the quality would be a 5. But, the workers that showed up were poorly trained/ left a mess for our family. Everything they did was low workmanship, at best. Mr. Haag was true to his word on coming back and fixing the workers many mistakes.

Courteous & professional, promptly returns phone calls, there when he says he will be there, trustworthy, great people to deal with! Highly recommend these guys!! We will gladly hire him again.

I could not have asked for a more perfect contractor to be put in my path. I would recommend him to every member of my church. I would recommend him to complete strangers. I trust him completely. He guarantees his work. He calls to make sure everything is okay. He is very attentive.

Called on a Monday to set up snow removal, it snowed a few inches overnight and the next morning my driveway was plowed. I couldn't be happier with the customer service and the job. Rates are very reasonable too!

The service was very prompt and worth it!
