"Tori, you were a pleasure to work for. Thank you! - Austin Draper"
"Tammy Black Rhino appreciates the review! You're right with the 100 hours of time to the interior designer and change orders your project did take longer. The bathroom was built to access your plumbing installed by the builder of your house. Along with the post and beams placed during the construction of your house, all play a part in framing your bathroom. Your floor is not vinyl, it's laminate. We always install 20 mill Vinyl but you chose different. Countertop was hand picked by you and specified by you on design. No layout ever showed over the fridge. Tammy we appreciate the work but we didn't like being accused of stealing your keys th"
"Thank you for your review. We appreciated your information at the time about our roofers and we took action to terminate their employment during your job which did throw the timeline off for completion. As for the rest of the job taking longer than expected, our original contract was for roofing only. The customer requested a change order for siding after another contracting company took her siding off without asking. She requested that we install the siding for her. We had to special order the siding to match the rest of the house, which took 4 weeks to receive from the supplier, and we admit we did not call often due to informing the customer that it would be a few weeks. We installed the day after we received the materials. We did reach out to the customer numerous times and requested that she NOT pay until the job was complete. We also sent the receipt with her neighbor, an employee, who admits it took a few days to deliver due the customer and employee not seeing each other. We admit that the customers experience is not what we would like, however we rectified the issues and communicated to the customer what was taking place."
"Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, we believe there are some misunderstandings. We received signed contracts on 5/14/19, we started 5/21/19, and finished on 5/30/19 with the Memorial Day weekend in that time span. The customer requested that we re-tile the shower window after we finished because she believed that "wood" was showing. The "wood" was actually the steel window frame and it was completely waterproofed in. However, we re-tiled to comply with the customer's demands. We also discussed installing a cast iron tub, however the customer and contractor discussed the pros and cons of steel and cast iron and both agreed on the steel tub. Customer was not charged the difference in price, even though the steel tub was more expensive. We also had to rewire the electrical circuit (that we did not charge for) due to the customer's misleading statements that they had "all new electrical circuits" throughout the house. We remodeled an entire bathroom in less then ten calendar days to include getting permits and inspections through the city (which often take ten days to receive) and the holiday. The only item left was a few paint touch ups. Unfortunately, the customer had incredible expectations that were unrealistic. Sadly, the "tile guy" that they are referring to is a veteran who happens to be the only non-white crew member on the site, which appeared to be an issue with the customer. He was told by the customer to not come back to the site, and due to this, he could not come back to finish his job. We did not have any other issues with any of the other employees."
"Thank you so much Rodney. We appreciate you and your wife."
"Thank you friends! We loved working with you and your husband."
"Thank you, Kay. We appreciate you and thank you so much for your kind words."
"Black Rhino Custom would like to first apologize for the unsatisfactory work that we did for you and your company. Black Rhino Custom would also like to state that no where or did we say the job was a 3 day project. The job was also on hold due to the contract of Black Rhino Custom having to be sent to corporate for you and your company to be approved before work could be started. by the time that took place we had our guys on other jobs that consisted of bathrooms and kitchens being tore apart for remodel and due to the needs of our other customers and living condition we had a priority to make sure we could get those jobs done for the use of their home as every day necessity for a family to function. As a contractor every customer is a priority but you also have to know how to prioritize. Not that your job wasn't important, but other customers had a higher priority at the time and we do apologize. I would also like to say the material for the paint was provided incorrectly and we had to paint twice which took more time, and the unsatisfactory trim was because they no longer carried the same color that was in your office. so again we apologize for the unsatisfied work from Black Rhino Custom."
