Concrete Driveways & Floors - Install
I would never use Blackwater Masonry for any job you may have. A two week job took over 2 months to complete. The work crew would show up at 1-2pm to start work and leave around 4-5pm. Except the two nights the started pouring concrete at 4pm and tried to smooth out the finish using the headlights of their vehicles. Needless to say that the finish of th concrete was extremely poor. Additionally, my original estimate was exceeded by 75%. Eventually I threw the crew off the site and had to hire a different company to finish the job. The task was not done according to what was written in the contract. DO NOT USE BLACKWATER MASONRY!!!!!

Brick or Stone Fireplace (Gas) - Install
Black Water Masonry misled us about price, workmanship, experience, and time for remodeling 2 older gas fireplaces. It cost twice the original estimate, neither fireplace works, and the fireplace doors do not close properly. We have tried to get them to return for over a month. They no showed after we waited for them all day. After multiple more phone calls, they said they could not come back because they were on another job already - essentially meaning that our job was not work their time or effort. We will NEVER recommend them. We are cutting our losses and are going to hire a different company that is recommended by people we know.
