Asphalt Shingle Roofing Repair
The Owner Tighe was great to work with. When we wanted to look at one or two additional options, Tighe came back, thoroughly discussed our needs and wants and was quick to make sure we got on his schedule before rain came in later in the week. I was not able to be home when the work was completed, Tighe came back a few days later when I was available to walk the job with me and make sure I was satisfied.

Our roof leaked and we had water in the house. We discovered it Friday evening before Super Bowl Sunday. I used Homeadvisor and found Blackadar Construction. Tighe called Saturday and came over to assess the problem. He spent almost 2 hours on the roof (it was warm that day). He came back Sunday morning and spent over 2 hours doing the repair...and thank Heaven he did because it snowed after the Super Bowl!! We would not have been able to fix the roof for the next 2 weeks because it snowed that long! And only charged $325...Thanks, Tighe

I hired Tighe to help us with what was suspected to be an exterior leak on our home. I really liked that he took complete ownership of the solution, even getting on the roof to check for points of water entry. Tighe did sealed all possible points of entry with caulk for a very reasonable price. The first day Tighe didn't have a tall enough ladder to finish the job, but he came back the next day even though we had already paid him. That's the mark of an honest contractor. I would definitely hire Tighe again.

Tighe sealed and repaired my roof after I had a vent fan installed. He and the electrician coordinated schedules to insure the work was done on the same day. Cost was very reasonable and he forwarded photos of the work. Will definitely use again.
