Blackwood Construction Group Inc.

They were efficient, and did a good job. They had helpful ideas when planning the project and gave us the option of techniques nobody else had made us aware of. They responded immediately with follow-up to a minor problem that was discovered after they finished the job.

My project didn't go as quickly or as smoothly as I might have preferred, but the main problems were out of Woody's control - supply backorders, etc. Woody did a great job of keeping me updated. He was always accessible and made it easy to finish the job around my work schedule. He addressed all of my concerns promptly. I am very happy with the way my shower remodeling turned out. It's beautiful and just what I wanted!

The salesman and the project manager were easy to work with, very helpful, and attentive to what we wanted. All of the subcontractors were courteous and did their work with the least amount of interruption to our daily routine. The work was completed on schedule and to our specifications. We were very pleased with the entire experience with Blackwood and would gladly recommend them to anyone.

Blackwood was extremely responsive to calls, and was always easy to reach, returning my calls without delay.

Blackwood Construction did an excellent job on my bathroom renovation. Woody listened to my needs and provided excellent guidance on the alternative ways to address those needs within my budget. The crew were friendly, tidy and professional. Tom did a great job managing the project on a daily basis and providing continuity and communication throughout the process. Overall this was a very good experience that resulted in a beautifully updated bathroom that came in within budget. I will call on Blackwood for future projects and would highly recommend them to others.

Blackwood re-did our bathroom to make it more accessible for my disabled spouse. While we are generally pleased with the job, there were instances of poor communication regarding arrival times and the workmanship of their plumber was somewhat careless in the installation of the shower attachment. It fell down and had to be properly re-installed. There were also instances where their clean up following work was incomplete. All in all though, we were happy with the overall service and the end result.

I hired them to do a countertop installation. Review is TBD.

I am very please with their work and workmanship. All crew members went out of their way to make me happy, and that is often hard to do. They did extra work and services at no extra cost. All crews were timely and cleaned up after themselves each day. They did a quality job while being friendly and professional. I am glad I chose Blackwood Const. and I would reccommend them to others. We are very proud of our new kitchen! A special thanks to Woody and to also to John, the best handyman around.

They did a nice job with our bathroom. The painter that was recommended was probably more pricey than we needed for that space and failed to complete some details, like cover plates and vent covers. The overall cost was more than we needed to pay and we received high quality work and a quite functional bathroom.

Blackwood Construction did not try to over-sell the project, they listened to my imput and we developed a design within my budget. The projects were scheduled began and finished on time, error free. The workers were polite, professional and maintained a work area, allowing me to live in my condo while work proceeded. My projects (bathroom, kitchen) ended up being a very pleasant experience.

Blackwood construction did an outstanding job remodeling our master bathroom. They are to be complimented for the many aspects of the job especially starting and completing the job on time, outstanding workmanship, providing overall and next day schedules, taking care of hidden damage without having to extend the schedule and rescheduling workers to accommodate the replacing of a factory-damaged tub. There are only symptoms of your dedication to customer satisfaction. You see the job through to completion with outstanding results and are to be complemented. I highly recommend Blackwood Construction Group Inc.

I would speak to them about future upgrades to our home.

Very staisfied with the overall project and will recommend Blackwood to friends and neighbors. Was specifically impressed with Mr. Rober Woods performance in communicating project detail, returning calls, and professionalism throughout the course of the project.

"They just started demolition yesterday, so not much news to report so far, but they were very careful and cleaned up after themselves."

Woody is a solid business owner who truly cares about his customer and the quality of job done. His follow up work is outstanding as is his customer communication which is key to my satisfaction and rating. The most important question not asked by this survey: Would I hire him again? Answer, yes, as a matter of fact I am discussing the next project with him now.

I'm giving a Fair rating for Quality since everything that was wrong was eventually fixed correctly. The project was to take 4 weeks. It has taken exactly 6 months.

Cabinet Manufacturer not up to par. Many broken cabinets received causing delays. Still not completely finished, but getting there. Blackwood has done a good job of making concessions due to delays. Communication has been irregular due to so many delays, and bad information from the Manufacturer.

We went through several painters before we hired Blackwood Construction. If you are searching for a painter do not look any further. Their painting team is honest, professional, courteous, timely, and most importantly they do an incredible job preparing and painting any room. They are very slightly more expensive than other painters but they still rank number one in value. Invest in a quality paint and hire these guys and you will be ecstatic with your results.
