Blair Brothers Home Improvement and Concrete

The work crew performed good, so far the drive way looks pretty good. We were quoted a job with 17 yards of concrete. My husband spoke to both Concrete truck drivers , one truck had 6 yards the other had 7 yards totaling 13 yards. When we asked the owner about the difference in price he said that he always does that to make sure he doesnt lose money. That seems pretty unfair And dishonest that we were charged an extra $600 to make sure he doesnt lose money, and for material we didnt receive. As it was we were pretty sure the job was way overpriced. My husband had the site ready and laser level with stakes and string making it so when they arrived it took about a half hour for them to frame. The only reason that we went with this group was because a friend had recommended them. When we pour our basement they will not be doing it. The crew worked good together and my husband said he would hire the crew again just not the owner.

The concrete apron was 3 1/2 inches thick not 5 inches as agreed. The forms were not removed after 3 weeks, and the area not sloped. The driveway was not pressure washed afterward. They dug the area and poured concrete without finishing the job. They said that they would return to complete, and nothing after 3 weeks.
