Brick and Stone Patios, Walks, and Steps - Install

Blanford Designs is a top notch landscaping design company. Gary (the owner) is a very talented architect with many years of experience, he's very professional and a pleasure to work with. From our first meeting and on to the very end of the project, he listened to what we wanted to acheive 'Transform our back yard living space." He brought design ideas to us that gave us a lot of choices and added more value to our new investment and kept us within our budget. We are as pleased and happy as can be with our new outdoor living space. If you reside near Chicagoland / Northeastern Illinois area, Blanford Design is the company to hire.

Excellent experience from start to finish! Despite being given a very tight budget, Mr. Blanford was able to come up with a patio design that was not only well-suited to our yard space but very attractive as well. We are very happy with the quality of the materials and the work provided by him and his team. They were very professional, kept us informed on all phases of the project (Mr. Blanford himself was on site every morning to make sure everything was going smoothly, according to spec, and to our satisfaction), and I would wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend them to anyone in need of patio design and construction service.

Totally Professional. Blanford built a stone patio, wall, finished our front stairs and landscaped. We were looking for someone to deliver everything and did. Gary actually provided scale design drawings and had real ideas (no body else had and we look at 8 contractors). Looks great and finished on time.

Gary's services were exactly what we were looking for. We needed someone to help us with ideas and a plan for our yard. In addition, when we move forward with the work he will be the one to hire the subcontractors and moniters the installation. We highly recommend his services.

Mr. Blanford was terrific. He met with us several times and provided detailed sketches of his ideas before asking for a deposit. He was available at every step of the way and spot on in his vision for the hardscape for our house.

The contractors that he brought to the project were very good quality. His project was scheduled to be after some concrete work was completed. We had picked our own local, highly recommended, concrete contractor. Unfortunately the concrete contractor had a death in his family that put our concrete work off by about 3 weeks. Gary handled all the rescheduling.

Gary really listened to us regarding what we wanted / what we liked and came up with a very creative design that complimented our house and incorporated what we asked for. He was on-site daily to make sure that his plans were carried out properly and was very responsive to our questions / requests / changes throughout the project. The project was started quickly and completed in a timely manner. The whole experience and end results were great.
