At first, I was really impressed with Biff?s communication and straight forward approach. They removed my old driveway and installed a new driveway and walk path to the front door. The install side was straight forward and there were only a few issues that they forgot to address when the concrete was poured. All in all, I was satisfied with their work until after I went to get a permit to build onto a separate pad that they poured. The city informed me that it did not meet code and when speaking with Biff on how to remedy the issue, he stated that he would review the code and let me know how we can fix it. Unfortunately, this was our last communication as Biff refused to respond to any communication efforts. I emailed, texted, and called over a dozen times during a 2 month period and received not even a courtesy call in response. To ghost a customer that had paid for a pad that can?t be used shows an extreme lack of integrity and professionalism.

The HOA that I live in required that my blacktop driveway be replaced with a cement driveway. This was my first time replacing a driveway. I was aware of the price range to replace a driveway. I looked on Angie's list for driveway contractors. I came up with 3 and gave them the information they required. I heard back from two and based on the size of my driveway was quoted a price. I was very impresed with the owner of Blankenship when I met him. I also thought his price was reasonable. When his crew arrived I new I hired the right company. I could tell by their apprearance that this is what they do. They unlaoaded their equipment and soon went to work. The job was completed in two days. I now have a new cement driveway and it looks great!!

I recently purchased a 12 x 20 foot gazebo. We needed a gravel site on which to place it. Biff and his crew leveled our site and created a perfect foundation for our backyard retreat. Our Project was a hillside driveway section tear out and re-pour NOT a basic flat slab. OLD driveway section (+/-20&; x 20) had been improperly engineered. The old slab basically formed an angle ('V') in the middle falling to a drain from the garage on one side and from the hillside on the other. The angle would not allow new 'low bumper' cars to enter the garage without scraping. Cars don't bend in the middle! The Blankenship Team assessed the situation and came up with a solution to pour a re-engineered gradual sloping hillside slab with a new drain system that, in essence, flattened; the hillside section allowing the lowest of cars to enter the garage worry free! The Team was very professional and interacted with the us on all stage as the work progressed. They were punctual, respected the adjoining yard area (new sod), and kept the work area clean throughout the Project. The Project was executed flawlessly from start to finish. Their price was very competitive. It was a very positive experience and we're very happy with the end-product. I highly recommend Blankenship Excavating!

We had our driveway and entryway replaced in December of 2022. In January of 2023 we started noticing cracks and a corner of the drive has completely broken off and now have a sizeable list of issues. We have reached out by phone, text and email numerous times and get no response. Once William "Bif" Blankenship Jr and William "Bif" Blankenship Sr take your money they will NOT respond, and you will never hear from them again.

Biff Blankenship would respond within a day, to my questions prior to the start of work. He kept me apprised of the date for the start of work and did begin work within the promised timeframe. His crew did a fine job. Unfortunately, some idiot teenager, took it upon himself to go behind the taped off area to put his foot prints into the fresh concrete after the crew left. I donâ t know who was more angry â me or Biff. But he sent workers by within a week to patch the footprint holes. II was very impressed by that. I think if you hire Blankenship, you will not be disappointed!

Listened to what changes to the replacement driveway we were seeking and walked through some options. Explained the process. On first day of construction went through the changes again to ensure it was going to be correct. Best of all because we were flexible with timing, they were able to move up the start date!
