I called at 5:30 pm about a broken blind. Jerry and the repairman were out at my house at 8 pm. Fix the blind in 30 min. Jerry also fixed another blind, in the house, too.

The service was very fast. The repairman came the same day and did the work in my home. Now that the cords on the kitchen blind have been replaced, it's hard to get the cord stop to work, possibly because the new cord is much thinner and slipperier than the original. There's a lot of slippage. Also, the tilter he installed in the other blind doesn't work smoothly. I found the service kind of pricey - $155.00 to replace the cords on one blind and the tilter on another. Jerry was reluctant to tell me the charges for the entire repair up front so the total was a bit of a surprise.

Arrived on time. Was helpful and polite. Didn't charge as much as they could have, so that was very much appreciated. Only reason isn't five stars is because I had to call back about appointment vs. them calling me back.

I had two sets of wood blinds that were in need of repair and refurbishment. The decorative tape and the crosspieces that hold the wood slats in place were disintegrating due to age. They were able to accommodate me with a Saturday appointment, came and took the blinds down, took them back to the shop, and had them re-installed within a week. They were very professional and I would be happy to use them again. There are very few companies that will repair wood blinds--they all want to sell you new ones--but in these times it's important to reuse and recycle when possible. The Blind Repairman is just the company to do that for you.

Other people told us we would have to order complete new sets of expansive, vertical blinds and rods for all our rooms to replace the old system we had. However, the knowledgeable person from Blind Repairman knew exactly how to pin point the problems on the rods, fixed the worn segments and saved us hundreds of dollars and extreme installation aggravation by replacing a few worn parts. He fixed every rod in the house and they work beautifully again.

He re-threaded my vertical blinds, but now they don't close all the way and when I complained he started arguing that my blinds were" cheap", These blind were the top of the line! His associate put the slates on backward at first, I had to tell him and he didn't seem to understand what I meant when I told him they didn't overlap. and light came through! I will have to get new blinds now!

"Dear Heddy, Upon meeting you for the first time you thought our repairs were too expensive. We sadly left your home and continued on our day. However 20 minutes after we left you called us to ask for a Senior Citizens discount and we complied with your request. We gave you a 10% off discount and also waved the $40 Trip chrage. After we repaired your blinds you tested them and everything was up to your satisfaction. We explained that your blinds were very "Old" and that you may continue to have problems with them. I apologize that you were not happy with our services and wish you would have allowed us to come back out to help resolve the prob"

Looked them up on the Internet, submitted my info and within 3 minutes they had called me back to schedule an appt. the next day! Our blind are so old he couldn't fix the right away but found the rare parts and called us to make sure we wanted them . They seemed to go out of thier way to do the job right. I highly reccomend them to anyone!
