Very disappointed. We chose Bluefield because they were going to have a drywall repair person come into repair a ceiling and nail pops in our stairwell. The estimate was high, but we expected the repair work plus the painting to be covered expenses. Andy was honest in that he would charge only what the job actually cost if the estimate was too high. We moved completely out of our home to allow flooring and painting work to be done in an unencumbered environment. Bluefield arrived and immediately started to paint; NO repair work was done or even talked about. The ceiling was rolled but not cut in at the edges. The master bed and bath, the living room, the kitchen, the stairwell and main halls of the home were painted. All but the stairwell was painted on the first day....8 hours. The stair well was painted the second morning...the nail pops and holes had not been patched. Andy returned with the painter to do a final walk through. He came with plaster repair to repair the stairwell. During the walk through the ceiling was touched up, a wall that was not painted was actually painted, multiple small spots were the cutting in and the rolling of the paint had not met were repaired. I will say that having the same color did make it more difficult. I have twice done multiple touch ups on missed spots... they show when the light hits the walls just right. Andy wanted paid...we paid "less"....~$3500 vs $3800. The following day I came to the house to check things out. The stairwell repair....UGH. Andy had tightened the drywall screws and then attempted to cover the holes with plaster repair and paint immediately. It looked like the filling for deviled eggs had been smeared on the walls. I wish I could post a picture of the repair of the work; it was unacceptable and worse then the original defect. I texted Andy, very disappointed and knowing "if you want it done right do it yourself"....I repaired the holes, let them dry; primed, let that dry; and then painted with the left over paint. The repairs cannot be seen. I have not heard from Bluefield. Andy had not brought the sealed/unopened one gallon of promised paint for future use, but I saw no reason to waste money and simply asked to have a gallon of the remaining paint left at the paint store for me to pick up at a later date. The last surprise was the paint spray/spots all over the few art pieces we left in the middle of the rooms. I have scrapped, very carefully, yellow paint spatter from frames, glass, and the fireplace front and glass. A simple tarp drape was all that was needed for these few items to be kept safe. I will say Andy and the crew he had working at the house were nice; but the work was not completed to the promised standard. I am pleased that they did not damage our home but the job was not completed to standard.

Watch the quality of the job very closely and make them do it right as they don't come back even though they said they would it problems showed up after it all dried.
