I had Lou build a bridge on the pond and it lasted 2 weeks. Looked like junk from the beginning and he would not stand behind his work. I would highly suggest not working with the company. Horrible service

Everything about Lou Rambowski - Rambowski Home Improvement is a fraud, asks for deposits and dont do the work, Taken to court and doesn't pay court order. Updates have Lou working with Empire Today flooring, Caution as he may be doing the same tactics with this company. Don't trust this guy

We hired Lou to add on to a pool deck. Talked a great game. He asked for a deposit before doing anything, did not show up the first two days because of weather and personal reasons, and when he did come he dug a few holes and left after three hours. I canceled the project after this and asked him for my deposit money back. He did not return any of it.. He took $2,000 for digging a few holes and kept every cent. Not only that, he retuned some materials to Home Depot that we paid for and he took the store credit and kept it for himself. Then he told Home Depot that the decking materials that had not arrived yet should be returned, even though our new contractor needed them. Anyway, all is well that ends well. We found a reputable contractor who did an amazing job but I have never had any contractor do what Lou Rambowski did. Hire at your own risk.

Rambowski Home Improvements (Lou Rambowski) company is a scam, stay away. Talks a good game up front, will ask for deposit(s) to purchase material and not deliver. Will provide multple excuses why work can not be done - Weather, Family issues, health, and goes silent when you ask to return deposits. Have case with PA AG Shame ANGI allows these types to use this platform to steal and scam. Be carefull

He took money for materials; he scheduled an appointment date and never showed up; nor did he contact me at the time; so I hired someone else. I have made several contacts and appointments for him to refund my deposit, as he did not purchase any material nor perform any service. He has not kept any of the appointments. As it has been 4 months since he failed to show and has not refunded the deposit, I can only conclude that he does not intend to refund the deposit. One can make the obvious conclusion regarding honesty and integrity. He is not entitled to any of the deposit.

"What was said is wrong, he did give me a deposit and we got rained out twice and while I was in the hospital with kidney stones he hired someone else with out contacting me. I did mail him a check and he did not receive it, I told home I would drop off at his house but I haven't been over that way, he will be getting his deposit back even though he didn't let me complete the job due to me being in the hospital!!"

I hired him to fix a roof leak and to paint the ceilings in my dining room and kitchen. First, he took several weeks to complete the job, he had us purchase expensive materials that he never used. The paint job looks like a kindergartner did it, and the roof still leaks. On top of all that he charged us $2500.

It has been 6 weeks that I have had him working on my home, they painted the house and the trim which now looks worse than it was before, trim paint on the house, house paint on the trim. A friend of mine went on the roof that they repaired which is also still leaking, there was a chimney repair that was not repaired properly. There is paint splatter on my roof by the chimney and paint missing from my garage. He actually told me that one of his guys took the paint for a payment by the owner of the business. The deck was painted with deck over, the paint and dirt from the deck were mixed and now the deck looks bad

"This review could not be further from the truth. While the job has taken longer than expected, there are very valid reasons. For one, I have been there many times to rectify the problems. As she is not always available, I cannot just be there any day that I want. That being said, there have been numerous days that I was going to go over, but it has rained and the weather is out of my control. Jenny works during the week, and the only days she can be there are on Fridays which limits the days I can be at the house to begin with. The other big problem is the trim paint. It is defective paint, which she is aware of. I took it upon myself to call"

Agreed to pay professional upfront before job was completed. Job was only half completed, quality of job is terrible. After numerous contacts with professional, he has fail to respond to the problem. Do not hire under any circumstance.
