We hired Blue for a large interior paint job for 3 floors of our house. Initially we met with Max for an estimate, who was friendly and very attentive to noting all of our little detailed requests. My family was very unsure of what color/design we wanted to go for, so Blue went extra to help us with a Color Designer from Sherwin Williams that came out to our house and helped us choose the right colors. The employees were respectful and quiet in our home. When the project ended, it was nice to have the employees ask if we had seen any areas that needed a touch up or weren't up to our standards (which wasn't hardly anything), but nice to have people that wanted to satisfy us and not get out the door. The paint job looks excellent and glad we hired them.

Terrible process from beginning to end. Max provided a quote and promised quality work. Sub contractor (not Blue employee) started job (late), then left for another job, and returned and finished the job late so I was not available for inspection. Many missed locations, painted rocks,damage to gutter downspounts, paint on maintenance free window trim, sections missed on chimney, overall poor to below average work. Not a pro painter, he was a farmer who does this on the side. After denying second 1/2 pymt, Tony shows up and promises to make things right. Returns multiple times to finish the job, which seems ironic given they were 'a few small issues', replaces the damaged gutters and leaves the old ones laying on the side of my home, which are still there. Then threatens legal action if I don't pay, (then sent a pre-lein notice within 5 min of me originally bringing issues to light). Then when sending the final invoice as I am 100% over dealing with them and what I owed isn't worth legal fees, they magically tell me there is 3% fee to accept a electronic pymt. They did however offer to give me a discount of $150 dollars if i promised to remove a negative review and sign a statement that I would not leave any other negative reviews, which I declined. This is not company to due business with, go elsewhere. What they say and promise and what they deliver are not connected.

On time to both start and finish the job. They did a great job painting my exterior windows, trim, and doors. I'm very happy with their work and will hire them again!

Max seems reputable, he took my deposit. After 2 weeks of no response, Lucus the production manager pushed the job off until 2nd wk in July. No one called to confirm, after 1 month of waiting I asked for my deposit back. Max seemed surprised. There is a disconnect between Max & the painters. Would say don't ask for a deposit if you cannot provide a start date. Luckily certa pro gave a great estimate, very professional. Printed estimate on site. Randy responds promptly to calls. They gave me a real start date & started 2 days early. So far I am happy.

They showed up when they said they would and they did the job. We had contacted others first and they made appointments and never showed up. One company came and looked at our work gave us an estimate that we accepted and then backed out when they got a bigger job. BLUE proved very reliable and responsive to our needs. Would recommend them in a heartbeat and rehire when we have more work to be done.

They are knowledgeable, very nice personalities, great with our dog. They were prompt and most importantly, cleaned up everyday. I was very happy with Blue and would rehire again. The owner Max is great. Responds to phone calls or texts. Complete professionals.

Max from Blue Painting, LLC was great to work with. Max visited my house just one day after I requested a quote. The job of painting the trim on my house was finished within a week. No more worries about the harsh winter battering my trim, as I didn’t have time to do the job myself. I highly recommend Blue Painting, LLC.

I liked their work but getting an appointment set up was not easy. I know Mother Nature plays a part. Very efficient - they got my garage painted in one day.

POOR QUALITY WORK. We hired Blue Painting to paint the exterior of our home. NOT a professional paint job. Overall sloppy work, blotchy were sprayed, paint on windows, driveway, deck, shingles. Many missed areas on trim and poor lines between soffits and siding etc.. They sent out of crew of college kids, nice guys, but not professional painters. Personally, I think they were hired, given a paint brush and told to go paint hat house. Personally spent most of last weekend cleaning up their mess and correcting their mistakes/sloppy work. I estimate that I will need a few more weekends to make the house appear close to what the average person would expect from a painting company. I sent photos of work product to Max at Blue Painting. An attempt was made to correct the work, but end product was far short of expectations.

Had read some bad reviews but checked them out and hired them anyway. Mike Jeff and Cory came out to do the job. they were great guys very polite. they covered and taped everything before starting. They did a great job painting and cleaned up everything before they left. Would recommend this company highly. Also got a good price. Thanks guys for the great work.

Didn't put drop clothes down. They spilled paint on the carpet fortunately the carpet cleaner was able to get it out. You can see where they tried to scrub up the spill. There are paint drips and spills everywhere. They scratched the hardwood floors. There were shoe prints of paint on the floor. There is paint on the ceiling. Paint on light fixtures. You can see the old color where they peeled the tape off.

We hired them because they were a business and we needed to do some professional looking touch up work before selling. If my wife wasn't ill, she would have done the work. Communication was satisfactory. All the guys are great people. Interior wall painting of three walls was excellent. Exterior door trim painting was/is a nightmare. Expected a neat professional finish. Asked for scraping down of old paint. They complained because this was not quoted even though we specifically requested it ??? we also had to provide the sandpaper. Used oil based paint as requested. Despite priming and some sanding, they had to return to fix the work. RESULT IS SUB PAR! "That's the wood" excuses and sloppy work - paint droplets on floor, missed spots, rough spots, sloppy lines and "we didn't discuss that". Overpriced for what we got at $900 for trim work and power washing of all exterior walls. Additional $300 for interior painting.

Poor quality work all around. Took far longer than it should have, the painters simply didn't show up some days when they said they were coming. Very poor communication between painters/foreman and homeowner. Failed to cover carpets and furniture when painting; skipped parts of the woodwork and vent covers, failed to protect woodwork when painting, and spackled unevenly. Paint drops on carpet, hardwood floors, and fine furniture. The painters clearly were inexperienced and poorly trained. They broke off the fan blades, brackets and all, from an overhead fan. Only when I pitched a fit did the foreman come back to fix what could be fixed. Some of the things-- ivory paint on ivory carpet, or accidentally using two colors of paint on the same wall-- I didn't notice until later. Terribly disappointing. From the reviews others have given, I'd assume the crew sent to my home was an exception. The homeowner should be on site when they are working to ensure the job will be done appropriately.
