I was very pleased with the performance of the job Blue Ridge Roofing did. Jerry Ashby was very honest, dependable, trustworthy and nice person to deal with. He was referred to me by Louise Baker. She also is the same kind of person. I like referrals because you know the work is what you count on. He would not have been referred if he had not done a good job for Louise. She is a Realtor and knows how important your reputation is with your business. The quality of work was excellant. If he tells you something, you can count on it. He gave a fair estimate of the job and kept to that price even though it took a little longer and had to get more materials. They cleaned up as they worked. I would recommend this company to anyone and already have.

Mr. Ashby was very professional, he would have done a professional job. Upon handling the cancellation of the contract he should have been quicker in responding to us about what was going on.

I hired them for gutter replacement and to install vinyl over the soffit at the rear of the house. The contract called for inspection of the boards for rot or damage. The gutter install was OK but all of the down spouts were not secured and a lot of trash was left on the roof and in my yard. They did remedy that, but they did not install flashing under the gutters and left rotted wood exposed between the vinyl and gutters on the back. When I ask why this rot area was not brought to my attention I was told that they did not need to because the **nails were holding** The inspection part of the contract did not cover this(so what was it for). I offered to pay an additional sum to install the flashing, but they told me they would have to remove the gutters and reinstall and that cost was on me. The owner of the business came by and told me that my real problem was I need a new roof urgently and that my current roof was **well over 30 years old** This was a shock to be because not only did the roof look OK to me, and we have had no problems, but also we had replaced the roof less than 10 years ago. He also pointed out other things that were in **urgent** need of repair. This terrible practice of up-selling is always the mark of a contractor you cannot trust.

Great customer service and friendly workers. The work was not as good as expected until brought up as an issue. And they did fix the issues right away while still finishing the job. Overall, they're pricing was less, if not considerably less, than others in the area. So it's a cost versus quality thing. However, the great customer service sure helped.

Very pleased with all aspects of service. Will use again as needed.
