We looked around for different companies and were really lost on which direction to go but I’m so glad that we went with Blue Block Remodeling. They were super attentive to our needs and concerns throughout the entire process. They answered our many many questions and walked us through all of the steps so we would know what to expect. Their professionalism really eased all he anxiety that we had regarding the addition to our home but it couldn’t have turned out more beautiful! I suppose it was a fair price. I had some water damage from a bad pipe in our basement. I initially received a quote for that but had been interested for some time to turn an outdated bar set up into a full bathroom and frame a room next to it and then close it off with a door from the stairs. I ended up having the whole floor redone, repainted and relighted so that nothing resembled the outdated look that was there before. It took a few tries to find the right vanity and shower head. They got started within a week of me agreeing to give them a deposit to do the work. It was all very fast and they preferred getting my decisions for tile and floor board as they went along, but then were somewhat impatient about me getting back to them with an answer. The work felt very permanent and I was putting a lot of money so I just wanted it to be exactly what I wanted and nothing to be unhappy with so it was all very stressful, but in the end it did come out beautiful and everyone that has seen it has absolutely loved it. There were a couple issues with figuring out what was originally included and what wasn't, they had to take a partial banister out to close off the wall by the stairs but then didn't replace one, but when everything else was finished they came back and did so at no extra cost, same with some lighting issues and placement of the switches, they came up with a suitable solution. Overall as difficult as I was, they were accommodating and I would recommend and consider hiring them again.
