They will not finish the punch list I gave them in April of 2019. I had to put the snow breaks on myself. The roof isn't installed per the manufacturer's instructions. The siding was falling of the back of the house. They left debris in the gutters and all around the property. Did not properly reaffix the gutters. Removed drip edge, leaving the fascia exposed, then told me I had to pay them to replace the aluminum. When I asked them why they removed the drip edge the general manager told me it would look stupid if it was left there, but apparently exposed wood is fine. They damaged two of my gutters, cracked one window frame and caulked it. I was told this would be a hidden fastener system but there are exposed screws on the edges of the ridge caps, in a valley and behind the chimney. The edges of the roof peak have nothing on them, not even underlayment. The ridge cap is just open underneath. They promised me a 30 year 'leak free' warranty, but the general manager tried to tell me there was no such thing. Funny how it's written on the contract though. I was told he would come for another walkthrough for the punch list, which is practically the same as what I gave them six months prior but they never showed. I had to call them every other week to get them to fix what little they actually repaired. Since they didn't install the snow breaks, the last heavy snow nearly took my gutters off the second story and did crack the fascia. This roof has been on for two winter's with no snow breaks for which I have asked repeatedly to be installed. Just another thing that I have to fix. I wanted to improve my house but they did just as much harm as good. Their general manager knows nothing about roofing. The only thing he is good at is extorting insurance companies and he will try those same tactics on you. The only reason I gave them more than is because the one employee they had was competent and responsive. Then the general manager, Ross, ruined that. It's sad that I know more about the product they installed then he does. I had to provide them installation details, which were available on the manufacturer's website.

Beware of this company. I am currently filing a complaint with the better business bureau in the area against them. Also they will be sued within the coming month. They will source out to other subcontractors their jobs. They will also not let you know that until they show up at your house with the subcontractors. If you sign a contract with them they will not adhere to the contract that you originally sign. I signed an original contract with them and contract with me and I never signed off on the job they did because they didn't do the job right. As for the work the subcontractors will use and break your tools. They will not clean up from the job. They will leave tons of nails in your driveway and you will get a flat tire. Sam and James are not to be trusted. As for the owner Edward Button he will not reply back to you either when you want to resolve the job his company does. I believe he runs Button Oil also. I am not sure if he runs that company the same way. There is so many things to tell you why you should not hire this company and how they will not be honest with you. I do want to mention if you have hired this company or know someone who has hired this company and has issues with the contract you signed with them please contact the PA state attorney general. Also if they subcontracted your work out please contact the Pa state attorney general office. This company might have been good at one time but it has definitely gone hill within a year. I have tried reaching out to Ross(general manager) to resolve this matter but he hasn't return my phone calls. I am always willing to meet face to face to resolve all of my issues but Blue Square Builders refuses to do so at this time or any time.

This company was great to work with. Dillon and Sam was so attentive and listened to what we wanted and made great suggestions. We had metal roof and siding installed on our house and 2 outbuildings. The work crew was on time and really took their time to make sure the work was done correctly. I highly recommend this company and please ask for Sam for your salesman!!

They had problems getting materials to finish the job.

Carlo Thomas was fantastic, he explained what was going be, the price, and the date. The work was done as promised and the roof looked great. The crew was friendly and did a great job cleaning the property when they finished. I got a $500 discount by using the home advisor coupon.

They have great project manager Dyllon.

Would definitely hire again. Great job done on time at a reasonable price.

Blue Square builders has done roofs on two of our houses in the last six months. With the first house there was a miscommunication that was quickly cleared up. We financed the roof project on the second house with ease. They are easy to work with and are upfront with the prices. I recommend them and would use them again.

Very professional effort. We have a large roof(about 36 squares), and Blue Square brought the personnel necessary to complete the job in a day and a half. Would highly recommend Blue Square to anyone in the market for a roof.
