Blue Wave called immediately when I submitted my request. They came the next day right at the agreed time, and gave me a reasonably priced estimate for the scope of work. We agreed on a start day/time, and Blue Wave showed up right at the agreed time, and, better, they completed the work with quality and within the estimated time. Best of all, they found a way to save a little bit of money, and followed through with quality and attention to detail. Blue Wave listens to the customer, and gets the job done! We will be talking about more projects at my house!

This is my first experience with this company. Excellent work! I will call upon them again. Joe replaced my rotten front door frame, sealed and painted it. My front door was a real eyesore before and now it is beautiful!

Great experience ! I hired Blue Wave to pressure wash and stain my deckâ ¦ they did an awesome job getting the wood back to the original condition & then coated to protect from the elements. Not only was the job completed with high quality, but they were also done in just a few hours which was very convenient & efficient ! Their quote was also came in lower than their competition. I would 10/10 would recommend !

My daughter went on to Angis List to get someone to repair our fence gate. Joe contacted her and had asked her to send pictures when she asked for a quote. He then came over to look at what repairs were necessary. He gave us a quote and we agreed to the price quoted. He had then bought the appropriate supplies (which he brought the receipt back and I wrote out a check for) he had bought the wood (dog ears) a hinge set and 3 boxes of screws. He ended up keeping the latch that came with the hinge set and put a cheaper silver post on instead of the latch. He kept 2 boxes of the screws and when he put the dog eared wood he had left a 2 foot gap at the bottom in which my daughter had to insist upon him lowering so her 3 year old son would not be able to crawl out of the backyard. when he did that the gate still had a small gap at the bottom and was about 2 feet taller then the rest of the gate. In order to fix the eye sore he cut the gate straight across leaving no dog ears on the top (mind you the dog eared wood is more expensive). The repair took 3 weeks (one week was due to the weather). My daughter had asked him how much it would cost to repair the back deck. The repair was to hammer down existing floor wood and to replace some of the 2 by 4 and posts, patch 1 post and to paint the deck. He had stated it would take him 1 day for the repairs and painting of the deck. He had bought the supplies (I wrote a check out for) and began the repair. He took a two and a half hour lunch and finished the frame. He had stated he could not come back the next day because he had another job. He came back the day after that and continued the repairing of the deck he had placed a small 2 by 4 on the post (which was an eye sore) as a patch because of carpenter bee holes, I asked if he could use wood putty and he said no, so I told him to just take the extra wood off because it looked terrible , then he began to attempt to paint the deck. He tried to get his sprayer to work for 3 hours and then he finally went to the store for another 2 hours to get a new one. He painted the deck and told us to wait 36 hours before going on to the deck. When we were finally able to look at the deck we had noticed that he DID NOT hammer down any nails to secure the wood flooring and he had actually left some nails sticking up leaving us to hammer them down. so we actually finished his work that we paid him to do. He had left the wood from the gate repair for over a month in our front yard making us mow around it, his blower had given out and he left it in the back yard for us to dispose of, he had painted on the 3-year-old outside Mickey rug that cost $100, he painted the childs pool with over spay. In total it took him 2 days to finish the deck but in all actuality, it took him about 5 hours costing us $800 plus supplies. In all we paid $1,300 for two repairs that WE will have to go back and repair ourselves! He had only given us 1 invoice with tax that was for only $535 when we had paid $1,300 total. We paid cash for it all, except supplies. The invoice did not have a tax I.D. #. We are very dissatisfied... and, in all honesty, I would NOT recommend him to anyone!

In todays "labor market" it's VERY difficult to find a company/individual that meets, let alone, exceeds expectations! Blue Wave & Joe do both!!! They quote reasonably and then preform. Arrive as promised, preform professionally and courteously, finish as promised and clean up as expected. They care!!! It shows in their attitude and their work!! A resounding YES we would look forward to working with Joe & Blue Wave on future projects!!

I previously contacted Joe at Blue Wave about a patio door installation & made the mistake of not using him; the person I used (David from Howellâ s Handyman) will not answer my calls or respond to my messages, so I called Joe again for assistance since to complete the job of cleaning up debris left on the deck after the door installation. Even though it has taken several weeks & cost me additional money to get this done, I feel that I now have someone fair & dependable for the future projects I am planning.
